I had this on my Plan to Watch list for a long time, to the point that I was procrastinating of watching it 😭 I always heard that it was very good so I was afraid of getting disappointed but this fear was completely worthless. I finished it in two days, it was simply amazing. The ending was also very pleasant, I even got emotional 🤍

Reposting my comment on YYB's character cause why not (until episode 6)😅First of all, Ye Yi Bo's character has a lot of narcissistic traits and so does his abuse(narcissistic abuse) towards his daughter. Some exaples are : 1) his public persona that masks his abuse. YYB maintains an impeccable outward appearance , he's seen as gentle, generous, even heroic. He heroically saved people from a factory fire, gaining public praise, he offered to repay money allegedly taken by his absent wife, painting himself as self-sacrificing for his mother’s medical bills and he never spoke ill of his wife in public and claimed he would refuse remarriage to protect his daughter. This crafted image makes others view Ye Haitang’s claims of abuse as delusional or attention-seeking. 2) Gaslighting and feigned victimhood. When YH tries to confort him he twists the narrative, claiming she’s mentally ill. He even uses the madical jargon, "delusional disorder" to appear more believable. 3) Physical and emotional abuse, Ye Yibo constanlty beats his wife over perceived slights, demanding money from her. Haitang witnesses this as a child, who later also becomes his victim after her mother's disappearance. If anyone that reads this have experienced some of those abuse traits, please talk to a trusted person, limit your contact with the abuser or make a safety plan.

I saw that she has a guest role in that drama. How come people wanted her as the FL? Was it rumored that she could take the main role or was her acting skills that good?

Coroner's Diary, the romance was very good ‪‪❤︎‬
Maybe that could be the best. September though is flooded with kdramas and if you are a kdrama watcher you might want to check those out. Otherwise, i would recommend you the modern drama Reborn, it has a light teenage romance but the main focus is more on the societal problems of China.

Please tell me when he is the emperor. Will he get his memories back or is it lost forever? 🥲
All those years that he was the crown prince, he had dreams of the fl, when he meet her some of his memories came back and when he became the emperor he remembered everything.

Wu Zhen and Mei Zhu Yu desperately need an honest conversation. It’s clear that Wu Zhen loves her, his feelings are undeniable. When she asked him whether he could truly stay with her, even knowing that the one who killed his parents lives inside her, her eyes were filled with raw desperation. In that moment, she wasn’t just asking a question, she was hoping for reassurance, for him to say that none of it mattered because he chose her, no matter what. What shattered her was his silence. Mei Zhu Yu loves her too, but after years consumed by vengeance, it’s not easy for him to simply let go of that pain.Perhaps what they need now is distance—a separation, at least for a while. Not as an end, but as a pause. A chance to breathe, to reflect, and to prepare for the serious conversation they’ve been avoiding. A conversation without grabbing hands, drawn knives, or threats.

In what way you want a similar one? The second chance romance? The green flag male lead or perhaps the family's…
Nice! For a second chance romance I recommend Our Beloved Summer, The Princess Royal, Go Back Couple. For a green flag man, I could recommend Summer Strike, Her Private Life, Reply 1988, Coroner's Diary, Blossom. Now, I have seen Reborn too, which falls into the category of the parents going against the couple, the male lead is also a green flag 🤍 If you want some more, feel free to tell me

Did Wu Zhen escape the array because it wasn't night yet and she was human during the day ?
Yes, she doesn't have powers in the day time

Is this going to be a weekly release or all at once?
it's an netflix original, so it seems that all the episodes will air at once.

Thanks! And that drama only has 12 episodes (very K-drama of them!).
Yeah, it seems each episode is for each letter. So refreshing
