Yeah, I don't know why this is happening either. Everyone seemed to enjoy the drama and even if they didn't give a high rating like me, they definitely gave an 8.5. Perhaps it's haters of the actors, I can't think of anything else.
Honestly , if watchers are really adults , practical, realistic and are suffering in their lives can like this…
This is the beauty of melodramas. They allow people to resonate with the characters, either through shared experiences or through empathy. Melodramas aren’t for everyone but i believe that’s exactly why they hold a special kind of beauty of their own.

Heads up: FL speaks Japanese and everyone else speaks Korean and they all magically understand each other, if…
If i remember right, a teacher pointed out that her classmates understood what she was saying, so they paid attention to their Japanese classes. So, it must be a case where she can understand Korean but can't speak really well.
I’m on episode 14, and when Jiang Mu says to Jin Zhao, ‘You have to answer me or you’ll lose me as your sister,’ I felt weird . He can’t be both her brother and her lover, those are fundamentally different relationships. The way the drama blurs that line at times is kind of uncomfortable
