My point was only about 4-10 almost the same photos that is not necessary to upload and that increases the gallery artificially in 3-4 times and making it almost impossible to explore.
But I see that the most ppl are OK with it. Well, I just shared my opinion.

As for having more photos of one actors over others, well, everyone are free to upload the content to the gallery, who is stopping you from doing this? I don't know why fans don't upload Joseph's photos for example? Or should others do it for them? It's a free will. But I agree that there should be less repetitive and similar photos of Rui going on make up or receiving letters in 10+ frames for example. Some of our comrades are too diligent lol

No, I'm not surprised. It's normal to be interested in the gallery content. You didn't ask them, did they manage to look ALL gallery, and what page did they give up on, did you?
And I understand why there are so many repeated photos. Cause the more similar photos there already are, the harder to check. Even you uploaded photos that already were there 😉

Telling the truth, I agree that 10k photos in a gallery is too much. The gallery doesn't make sense as a content storage anymore. Usually, I browse the drama's gallery when I want to see the missed content from the set (like I did with Burning Night or Rosy Clouds, for example). But no one will spend their time trying to look through 10k photos, turning all those endless pages. When I want to find the photo from the previous shooting weeks, it's unreal to find it in this gallery, it's easier and faster to find on twitter by tag.

So my question from the 1st day of camping here is, why on earth do you upload so many similar photos guys?? 2-3 photos are enough, no?

Let me try to help you figure it out.

First of all, I have experience of following fantasy c-drama shooting, it's always entertaining seeing all those costumes on actors and so on. BUT I've never seen costumes and looks that hugely versatile as in VoS. I mean, when you see actors young and hot and then old or beggar, as a warrior and then as a demon, and then twins! (YA's characters) Or if you see them as fluffy and cute, then ethereal and cold, like an innocent princess, then like a cruel evil, like a transparent spirit, and then like a stuffed toy with ears and a tail (TJR's characters). There is nothing left just to be more and more curious and try to figure out what's going on, how all these characters are connected, and what the story is about. Not having a novel or other resource, we build our theories and that's what makes this comment section alive and interesting for us. Every day we have smth interesting to discuss and to make new guesses.

The second point is the cast itself that gathered many followers here who managed to keep this page friendly and fun. Our secret is to be supportive and respectful to every actor and actress on set, and treat them like family. So we celebrate each cp's content equally, we are not concentrated only on our personal favs, but share others' joy too.

That's what makes this place special 😊
