GJM did his best to make Gong brothers seem like villains. All those dark tones and sharp shadows, their poses and frame compositions. If you watch closely, you'll notice that the director was using the whole spectrum of artistic expression to mislead the viewer 👏🏻

The main intrigue for me and many other watchers in MJTY was are Gong brothers good or bad? That simple point got me hooked till the last episode. And I was satisfied totally 😊

Yeah,.. I learned it from ppl in russian-speaking segment, who read the novel. They said GJM rewrote it a few times so there are a few variations of it. Maybe even unfinished, but still it's tragic for Gong brothers in any way 🥲 So yeah, for me it's perfect as it was in the drama.
