Haha, that's ok. I think c drama lovers know that douban has no mercy to xianxia/wuxia genre. For example one of my fav dramas Till The End Of The Moon has 5.6 douban score with 400k votes. Meanwhile it was S++ production and the success was huge in China and worldwide. Even chinese government noticed that this drama increased inner tourism etc.
Do you remember that famous building with cascade of pagodas and stairs in the middle? It was built special for TTEOTM and then appeared in 20+ costume dramas.
So the douban rating has nothing to do with a drama success.

During VoS airing the amount of Youku app downloads by users increased dramatically. As I know it's also counted as a commercial value of the drama

Interesting, I fell for his acting in FoF (watched MJTY after), when I noticed that his cheeks and lips were really trembling in the freezing scene. My thought there was, wow he's really into it. And then the crying scene over BJ body was a final shot at me ))

Yeah I was a k drama lover in 2010s, but in 2020s I became a c drama lover thanks to costume and fantasy genre which, unfortunately, almost not presented in k drama (Choson and Goryeo costume styles don't hit me unfortunately)
