My comment was about secondary couples in general, but Desire hadn't focused on the secondary couple since the original work, in the series they just kept it that way. It's sad, but the main couple was so good that I didn't even care that much. :)

Yes, age is more than a number, and a person is also more than a stereotype. There are many relationship dynamics and all should be respected. Couples of different ages deserve respect.
