I’m actually so annoyed like f*ck this cliche boring ass trope destined to be together because of a tragic past life they both had etc like the story is already about the fml reincarnated lives and they already had a past connection in their previous life IT WAS NOT NEEDED… but of course the kdrama creators just couldn’t help themselves could they???? They have to add it to EVERY DRAMA that comes out nowadays… They just love to make the story as cliche and boring as possible
Edit: I just finished it…. Turns out not only did the two l leads know each other in the past lives but every major character was there too somehow lmaooo of course they found a way to dress the actors in joseon clothes somehow. And they didn’t even have the guts to make the ml the bad guy in the past… and in the end they went for the amnesia plot ok….
Someone please help!!! Don’t read ahead if you don’t want spoilers
Did the the “they knew each other in their first lives” was in the webtoon (it’s been so long since I read it I don’t remember) or was it added in the kdrama???? Same with the girl that changed the flowers that is apparently the mother of the ml lead that died
I agree that nothing beats episode 3 and 4 - they had better writing and different feel to them, more interesting.I…
Don’t get me wrong I still enjoy the show I just lost some of the excitement of watching the new episodes and wanting more as soon as it is out… and let’s just say there is a lot more x2 scenes in anything that is not about the main leads Same about the childhood trope I never liked it, it’s such a cheap and unnecessary way of creating “more” connection and to make the couple “meant to be” that in most of the cases is not needed at all and the romance works perfectly fine without it…
The story is loosing steam it had in the beginning now that the whole war for the chairman position is over… and they’re gonna do to the whole past live things which is the new “they knew each other when they were little kids/they are destined to be together” please why does every k drama has to have that trope
Both the second leads are so annoying… We already knew the girl is annoyingly obsessive but add to it the cousin with the “he is dangerous for you, I’m gonna protect you” stfu and just leave them alone
I think the security issue is because guwon is a demon he probably thought he doesn't need one even🥲.Although…
I guess you could say he is so used to not needing security he didn’t even think of protecting the office or even the book …and yeah that guy can get anywhere apparently so annoying 😤
if she distance himself that would make no sense bc homeboy can't use his power to protect himself tf
They mostly target him because they want to kill her and he is in the way… Anyways the most sense would be for them to be together at all times ofc and I hope they don’t go there at all but they hinted at that in the preview of the next ep that’s way I said it.
he is the demon, and strong. he didn't think he'd need any security.
I can excuse the security part but he also moved from there why not take the book? Anyway I don’t care all that much about it I’m just annoyed at that phychopath always one upping them 😅
God I was so annoyed by the bad guys this ep how dare they arrest Do hee and most of all stab koo won?!?!? The audacity
Also how good is that psycho guy to sneak into his office and steal the book so easily?? Do they have no security at all like?? And why didn’t koo won take that book with him..he brought all these stuff at her place but didn’t think of bringing the most important one of all??? I’ll let that slide since I enjoy the show but they could have made the protagonists more careful
Pretty apparent now that by the end he will become human they hinted at it too much and that homeless lady is somehow involved maybe she is the one that made him demon or something I hope they don’t drag out too much the current plotline like make her distance her self from him to protect him…. Please the more scenes they have together the better the show
Remember the line she said. “The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.” I think that applies to the grandson.…
They did show a lot of the grandson smoking did they show the mysterious man with a lighter?? I completely missed anything like that… Then it is most likely he is the one (given he also knew about her medication)
Didn’t expect the ceo grandma to die this soon and that cousin def seems suspicious I wouldn’t be surprised if he was involved in her death in some way (he could also be the one she was talking to)
I said it before the release Keep your fcking expectation dead low, but people are expecting too much from it…
I don’t know what sort of groundbreaking plot some may be expecting but what is being advertised is being delivered exactly as that.. I personally don’t see anything to complain about in those 2 eps they where quite enjoyable in my opinion
Great leads and the story is good enough as well…I was excited because of the cast but also worried since it’s a fantasy story it would be too ridiculous and unserious for my taste.. the plot description reminded me too much of angel mission last love and the plot/ execution on that one was very bad imo… but alas it’s actually good now I only hope the story will not drag too much in the future (every kdrama has a drag faze towards the second half they better keep a good pace and for the writing to stay consistent as well)
Anyway the writing was really bad…. And you can usually excuse a not so good written kdrama plot if the couple is good enough but the main romance was so bad and underdeveloped here there was no saving grace for the drama.. Blame us villain supporters all you want but at least we had a hot cool looking villain to get excited about each week!? What else did the drama have going for? The drug propaganda plot? The mother superwoman that can do nothing wrong plot? The many uninteresting side stories? The most bland romance I have seen in a very long time?? (I mean if you were a fan of it power to you I guess…)
