Let me start by saying I really did like this movie. That being said, it messed me up. A friend of mine is completely obsessed with Kim Boem, so we wanted to watch a movie he was in and this was one of the two we could find online. I thought it sounded cool, she was a bit leery about it but like the sound of the other option even less, so we watched this. She enjoyed it less than I did, and had to get up and leave briefly to walk off the intensity at several points (I wouldn't read too far into this- she does it a lot and over the smallest things). She found the plot disturbing and upsetting, as did I, and we both found Kim Boem's character to be, while well done, depressing. Watching this at 2 in the morning was, perhaps, a mistake, as it left us to muffle our reactions so as not to wake anyone up. I got super worked up over it, and came back to my room to rant animatedly at my roommate about how upset the movie had made me. I'm not even concretely sure what about the movie worked me up like this, but I felt very strongly about it nonetheless. I feel like this sounds very negative, which is not the case. I really liked this movie, but it was depressing and a bit upsetting. I would probably watch it again, but maybe not for a while.
