55min not bad. Many netflix drama are around that range and it honestly goes by like a breeze. I just dont like the limit of episodes esp for fantasy/historical dramas, for sure some things gonna be left out and we just gotta infer some scenes

Ok good that only fair. They already enforce a limit on palace drama and those takes long episodes if they shorten it with shorten timeframe too itll be hard. Theres gonna be a need for different seasons which im not a fond off cause you never know whats gonna happen Already saw comment that joy of life 2 may not come and im still waiting on doulou continent but they say fl changes. So that’s why i hate having multiple seasons cause things like this happens.

Seems like the melon about Cdrama trying to compete with American and kdrama is true. Look we already got BL shows coming in hot and nee ones in the making. Now they are enforcing 40 episodes. One of the appeals of kdrama is because it not long and many get turned off by cdrama because of the long episodes.
For me personally, i dont mind if the episodes are going to be longer though. Because many historical/fantasy drama needs more than 40 episodes long.

I like it and dont so there will be no fillers but at same time historical and fantasy dramas need at least 40+. So either they make it longer or 40 but longer episodes.
