Just like what I read on some comments. But all I can see with Wei Yan here in drama is pain. He eyes and everything was so sincere. He love his grandmother and Wei Shao as a family. And he tried everything not to hurt them in any way. But falling inlove with his cousin's wife is not what he expected to happen. I mean, if I was a man, I will fall for Manman too. She wasn't that hard to love at all. Most of all to people like Wei Yan. Who grew up without parents and just recently meet his biological father then suddenly found out the real reason why his mother d!ed and he had to live without seeing his biological father. He was raised by his grandmother with full of love and protected by Wei Shao. But he never felt the love of family on them but more like a guest. He never fight with Wei Shao once and his grandmother always want him by her side. That's why I can't hate him at all. Yes I had a bad feeling with him in the first place. But I'm still hoping he can still stay by Wei Shao's side. Not literally by his side but helping him even if they're far away from each other. He love all of them, so Wei Yan decided to leave Yujun. To protect Manman's reputation. Even he doesn't want to go back again in Bianzhou to his father, he still choose to go for them. That's why I can't hate him at all. Atleast his love and concern was sincere unlike Lady Yulou who had nothing to do but give Wei Shao and Manman problem over and over again.😏
