For me A'shui character just feel a bit flat to me right now. it's not even about her getting in the way it's more about how her role is written. I think she'd be a lot more engaging if we saw her acting on her own ideas or making independent choices instead of just following orders. hopefully her character develops more as the story goes on, I actually like the potential spy theories and expect we might get her backstory later, because there's potential there And honestly sharing that doesn't mean am hating on the Fl. take blood river for example there's also a FL between the brothers but she's written in a way that add to the story instead of the feeling like an obstacle. that what I wish we had here... a FL whose presence actually strengthen the dynamic rather than dulling it

Haven’t seen a drama like this in a long time. The ML is just that man fearless, sharp-tongued, and the master of facial expressions. The fury and rage in his eyes? Unmatched! He’s so strong and truly exceptional.

And the FL? Wow. I usually skip dramas with the female lead (except Joy of Life), but she completely owned this role. One of the most intriguing, powerful, and well-written female characters I’ve seen in ages.

I’m so glad I finally watched it after holding it off for so long nothing beats this one for me 😩❤️
