General ling's character was on point ,, he's romantic but he's not soft ,, he loves the female lead to extreme but he's stubborn also ,, his personality will clash with the female lead's personality
they both are stubborn ,, he is so tough and cold ,, she's worm and cute but also strong

Don't attack the mother ,, she knows her daughter the best ,, she is not going to put her daughter in harms way just to be proud of her ,,, the palace is very very dangerous place for her un educated and stubborn daughter

I understood the mother in the proposal scene ,, yes she insulted her daughter and made her look the worst but that's actually good because it's kind of the truth ,, her daughter will definitely mess up with the royal family ,, she will definitely attack the princesses who will bully her and that will get her killed ,, they are not ordinary family ,, they are royalty ,,, they have strict rules also the general is just some one related to the royal family ,, he's not actually his son
so if this girl mess with the royal family to get even she will get her self and her family in a lot of troubles
