The princess’s antics is exaggerated for sure, but I think the way SYR is written is really good. It would have…
I understand why they tried to humanize him and make him a more complex and layered character for the drama. The novel showed him as a ruthless and ambitious man who wanted to climb the career ladder at any cost while maintaining a clean reputation. In the drama some of the blame for his actions is shifted to the princess.
All in all, still acceptable for a drama adaptation.
The problem with changing the Princess' character and plotline in the drama is that her actions make less sense. Dressing up like going to party to crash a court session, openly insulting the emperor, and being obsessed with XFF is a big divergence from the novel. This is the only point I feel was handled in a poor manner in the adaptation. I guess they were trying hard to make Shen Yurong be sympathetic to the audience.
No, it can also be given to people who made great contributions and so the emperor bestows the title and may or…
They are all wearing purple robes in the court scene so same rank bit different authority. Duke Su has less powers because he's more in intelligence and capturing criminals. Unlike the Li and Jiang ministers who have their own factions in court.
She had continuous flashbacks to her trauma for almost 16 eps. That's not fast at all. In fact it's much better…
The rain scene is clever because it shows a more playful and vulnerable side of the FL, but it shows that she doesn't let her guard even though she's drunk. There's a lot of double speak between the leads. They've reached a point of mutual respect but they still don't really trust each other.
All in all, still acceptable for a drama adaptation.

His authority isn't lower, just limited in scope.
19?😂 Me blushing!
