Ep.14 was hard to watch because it was just ML arguing uselessly against everyone else. That's poor writing by the script writer. We can find reasons as viewers but it boils down to a poor episode composition.

Actually this is more Classic wuxia novel because it's slow and follows the same format of a young hero rising to avenge an injustice. New Age wuxia are very different. But I think this is just a poor script. Cheng Yi is a good actor and he's done excellent work in his previous dramas.
