Call me shallow, but whom she ends up with is just so wrong, he's as ugly as they come, I don't think I've seen…
I'm a straight male and even I think you're wrong. The guy's funny looking, but he's very confident and charming in a lot of scenes (like the one in the bathroom where he keeps trying to distract the other guy from looking at Go Mi Nam by singing). That kind of stuff makes a guy attractive, not his silly hair or mostly-terrible clothes.
Jang Hyuk is a worst actor. Every drama he screams. I just wonder why anyone with common sense like this guy acting.…
Just to clarify, you had some spelling errors and omissions there: you meant "best" before "actor", "would not" after "sense", and you spelled "super amazing" wrong in the last word of your post.
I find I cannot possibly bring myself to watch this drama. I've tried twice with this version, and once with the…
You know, this being my favorite-ever kdrama, I want to disagree with you highly. But I remember being oddly..... put-off by the first episode. I didn't really get what it was trying to do. Obviously I overcame that and my life is better because of it. You should do the same. This is one of the sweetest shows I have ever seen. I am amazed that they made 20 episodes of two people being selfless and kind toward one another work so well. Sure, a lot of the conflict is contrived and even frustrating at times, but it just makes the satisfying moments that much better.
The way the protagonists treat each other, and the performances by Jang Hyuk and Jang Na Ra, should really convert any fan of kdrama to this show.
I must say this drama still lingers in my mind after many months and many kdramas I have watched after. For those…
My first kdrama was "You're Beautiful", which i really liked. My second was "Angel Eyes", which I mostly enjoyed but got really annoyed with by the time it was all said and done.
"Fated To Love You" was my 3rd. And just a few episodes in I was like "this is one of the best shows I have ever seen." So, you're pretty much spot on with this comment. I don't think I disliked a single moment of this show. I didn't even know it was considered "cliché" until I came here and saw some reviews/comments. For me, the entire experience was nothing but unbridled joy.
This was my 3rd-ever kdrama and my sentimental favorite so far. Lee Gun and Kim Mi Young were just to darn lovable for me to care that the plot is a giant cheese-fest. I loved it. Every blasted moment of it. And I love cheese. Give me more. Om nom nom nom. 10/10 would watch again.
Dropped it after the first episode because none of the characters were likable and there was infidelity at every turn. A very frustrating watch, especially after the pure, sweet fun of shows like Fated To Love You and Good Doctor.
No need to thank me.

Can anyone convince me to give this another try?
