I AGREE. I think the show needs to focus more on him as well. His quest to find a cure/vaccine is incredibly important and it saddens me that the show so far hasn't put any spotlight on him so far.

I think he's doing right. He's fighting for the greater good. You can't save everyone without making a few sacrifices on the way. His choices are rational and pragmatic. It's a great contrast to the more liberal "everyone should live" notion that the other two leads carry. The show's trying to force us into having a moral debate basically.

It's ranked 2nd for every episode (only behind Jirisan) for the night for every episode till now (for cable channels). It's doing good.

Also my theory is she has natural immunity against this and they'll use her to find a vaccine later on a la Ellie from the Last of Us.

I think this drama would be 10 times better if it showed us Han Taeseok and his quest to find a vaccination/cure more.

One of his strongest performance was in Two Cops tbh he had excellent chemistry with Jo Jeong Soek.

His first TV role was in Chief Kim actually. He played the geeky colleague to NKM's character. He wasn't in TMS afaik

The amount of people I've seen call Burning "boring" lol It's an incredible slow burn. The best Korean movie of 2018 in fact I'd exclaim.

It'll only have 12, which I think is for the better. I wish every drama had only 12 episodes these days. It's easier to retain quality in short dramas.

The show prolly went over everyone's head tbh it's a great show. Very smartly written and very well performed. It has a very deep commentary in fact. I would take what MDL users say with a grain of salt tbh there's similar level of negativity against any work with subtexts, symbolism and metaphorical writing on this website (just check out pages of works like Burning, A Tale of Two Sister, the Wailing, Kim Ki Duk movies etc. for some examples). Unless something's shoved right in their faces, people here don't seem to like it.

Everyone in this drama are sooo frigging dumb. Just 3 episodes in and my blood is boiling at their idiocy and incompetency. Like sending 2 kids on a plane without a chaperone? If their faces are plastered all over the internet, get them some fucking masks you braindead lawyer!
