Omg Kleun's so fucking annoying. His dude's frustrating af and I wanna slap the shit out of him. Nuea needs to ditch his sorry ass and go with Phoon. I swear.
Sorry but I refuse to take side of any colonisers. They can keep their views to themselves. Their country had…
Exactly. I'm from a country that was colonised by the British and my grandparents lived through it. It was a horrible time and they tell me about how shitty their life was during those times.
The idea that people shouldn't portray the victims of colonisation just because the colonisers apologised and it hurts the sentiment of the youth of the country the colonisers are from is such a weird discourse. Like what? Your feelings aren't what's relevant here, sorry to say because you were NOT the victims at any point.
It feels like the base story has changed completely during the course of the series. The series seemed to be based…
It was never based on Junwoong. Since the beginning it's always been about Gu Ryeon's past. Junwoong just acts as a proxy for the viewers. He's there as a narrative device only.

"Today's japanese people are some of the most peaceful on the planet and shouldn't be blamed for what happened during war in the past before they were born" - No one is blaming them. But they shouldn't be complaining when they see someone portray their history as factually accurate. Just because they apologised doesn't mean the nations they colonised aren't allowed to do shows and movies on that front.
Not even gonna bother with that whataboutism as if I ever defended USA. To me all imperialist countries are the same.
Unfortunately the comfort women episode didn't work well with the Japanese audience. Here are some of their impressions…

I am going to be starting this fairly shortly….so I can prepare myself, what is the scale of the level of heartbreak…
10/10 heartbreak. You'll cry. Keep some tissues around when watching. Secret Garden/Goblin were sad??? Dafuq lol I don't remember anything tearjerking about those dramas. This one on the other hand is like deep gut wrenching ugly sobbing type tearjerker.
I said this before but I'm repeating... I ship KJ with her coworker. But I will give a chance to Tae Hoon because…
Oh so it's not just me. I really am not a fan of GJ x TH. I prefer the camaraderie she shares with the playboy colleague. She just feels more open and natural with him. Whereas with TH she just turns into a fumbling fool.
It's kinda disappointing to see that most of his dramas he's paired with FLuke. Like they're cute together but I hope to see him do something different in the future.
man i love how much of a light drama this is, if they showed you the real struggles i wouldve dropped so fast…
"life already bad enough i do not need to watch hard stuff"
OMG FR. Romcoms should be light. I watch romance dramas for escapism not some stupid dose of reality that's unnecessary lol Just let me watch chrs being lovey dovey and I'll be happy.
lmao Kim Young Dae's character is hilarious in this. He's such a petty diva while also having an adorable airheaded side to him. The way he kept trying to confess to LSK's chr was hilarious.
how important is it to see episode 9? i know the premise of the episode and it hits too close to home for me to…
Ep 9 doesn't have anything of importance. You can skip it if you want. I recommend skipping it in fact if it'll trigger your feelings. It did for me and I regret watching it as I ended up crying for ages after that T__T
Did you watch the preview of ep 8? Junyoung is definitely not there to team up with Taeyang.
Other people's emotional state is not on her. If her appearance causes them distress, it's on them not her. Her saying "don't get close to Park Taeyang" could mean anything. She could be warning him against her parent's reaction to him dating TY, remember her parents WORSHIP her and to them her career was everything. And the "I really hate you" can be a way of purging her own resentment and wanting closure. Like I said, the preview shows nothing but sentiments without context. It's prematurely jumping the gun to judge her without knowing any of the context in which the lines she says is being said.
We'll have to wait for the next ep for any confirmation, but as of now there's no evidence to her being a bitch, just conjectures.
