I don't think it's the only reasons. I can't imagine if they had given more screentime to HB, leading the viewers to think they were fondly in love & boyfriends (I still remember the imapcting "Would you become my first bf?"), to end it with some cryptic situationship (I don't blame them, their life, their choice). The deception would have been even more unbearable & the hatred would have been directed to the production (manipulating their "story" for clout) & to HB.
Frustration leads to hatred.
Hb fans've already been throwing lots of hate to William/Izaya but not only, some casts have received it, like Hiroya, Ryuki, Dai/Shun & even HB themselves were blamed (even for dumb things like liking posts from other casts). And it's not some isolated individuals... Fans nowadays are way too addicted to fw, competition & violence, they're the problems

where Tomoaki often went (& so he would have never met him if not for the boyfriend)

He was being egoistical... If I remember his words correctly, he said he chose the show over HJ. His words were so hurtful besides his will to reshoot :/ Anyone would have been deeply hurt if they had feelings.
And he hasn't even contacted him for those two weeks before the reshoot, He is actually tasting his own medecine : seeing someone he likes flirting while he can't do much. It's a pity he didn't even try before to communicate properly with hj, at least to apease the situation. Now it's too late

I don't think it was a good idea, whatever the reason bc the period is way too short & viewers want to see "interactions, cute moments & flirt", not them being anxious bc they might be eliminated in the span of 3 days
They should have letting them focus on bonding genuinely as the period is so limited. Now instead of being excited to see what will happen between the love interests, I'm only stressed abt who will be eliminated & the consequences on everyone's mood

Yeah it's two months. They even went on a trip together, had time to bond, grow & enjoy their their days together at their own pace. And ofc for the viewers, it was so heartwarming to follow them >3

Fans of dating shows/BL fans should reflect on their behavior for real...From The boyfriend to his man, I see so much toxicity. I feel like these have become a place where everyone gather to throw hate for literally everything & enjoy it?! Finding love is hard, keeping it even more...Also they're humans & so flawed like all of us. And obviously it will reach the contestants, they will read your comments bc they're curious as William & Izaya told in an interview. We are responsible for building a nice place for everyone. You can share your opinion in a healthy way, while being decent & respectful. Also let's not forget they are humans with feelings, not some characters & in countries like SK & Japan, coming out is still perceived very negatively.

Time to go back to the show: One week is really too short & I hope they'll adapt if there is another season. Contestants have to "rush" to flirt & there is less room for real bonding. 3 weeks would have been nice!

I don't grasp the purpose of the elimination from the producers' pov. Entertainment? Creating discourses among fans? Buzz? The envirronement is becoming unhealthy... Voting for your friends though you're just here for such a short period of time & to find love.
As for me, I find it cruel:/ I can't imagine the mental state of the eliminated contestant.

Min sung and Hyeong Jun seem to go on the right direction? It's nice to see them enjoying talking to each other & Hyeong Jun finally smile.
Jae Ha seems to really suffer but I got a hard time cheering on him. I mean he wanted to go back to a dating show though he had HJ, said it in such a harsh way & didn't try to understand his pains/struggles back then or even contact him. He has made a big mistake if he was really in love.
Yj & Sunwook are cute, I wish them to find a caring bf (don't know if there is actually someone that will match?)
I'm actually interested in Han Gyeol. I hope he won't shut doors & will choose someone he has chemistry with :) I can sense a lil one with hyeok Jin, but let's see!
I like Su min, he seems mature & serious. I hope he will find love >3

They are not just friends & keep seeing each others here & there but it's been one year until the show & nothing really has changed.
The same impression from when I was watching the tbf : Bomi is trying hard while Huwei just going with the flow. He has shared many excuses on "why" their relationship is like that (busy, focusing on their lives, bad at romance) but maybe he just hasn't found his ideal type & so love yet.

It's the lack of communication that leads to break up or uncertain relationships . They were seeking for something serious, so those were necessary to get a healthy future.

Also that's why it's the only couple to have confirmed their relationship, live tgt & have met each other family. Dai/shun just said they were fighting a lot in their first year too, it was like judo xD It's realistic portrayal of couples :) I guess many viewers don't want to see this side of the relationship.

* Jobu was craving for some skin, he said it many times during the show. They eo saw yummy meat & went for it. Thinking just bc they flirted for not even 2 weeks, they'll be tgt or fall in love is just so naive lol...If it was so easy to find love, none of you wouldn't be that excited to watch romances & dating shows.

*Izaya/William : Let's give them awards so, bc the heck, they've played greatly their roles. And that's coming from someone that have been watching dramas since 2006.
Let's be real : if they wanted some fame, they would at least post on their ig & BE ACTIVE
Also what would it bring to them? Unless other cps out there, they are loaded, they've just found love, they got caring families & now they're travelling the world. They're living their best life

* Seems like we were very few to notice that H wasn't into bomi that much (at least during the show & from the latest lives). Bomi had feelings for him (still has from my pov). But H had chosen Izaya, went out w Ryuki after ghosting Bomi before The Boyfriend & even ditched him several times on the show. Bomi decided to pursue him despite knowing it. Nothing wrong with that. It's just their story, not a really happy one for now but that's real life.
The no kissing doesn't mean much for me, some are more reserved or innocent.
