It started with Ryu’s story, but ended with Johan’s. What a beautiful drama. I think the undefined relationship between them makes the series even more intriguing and beautiful. Every story doesn't need explicit romance; this series already has all the intimacy required by the plot. It is rare to find a show that understands that deep, emotional intimacy doesn't always have to be labeled as "romance" to be powerful. It sounds like you really connected with the character development in this one!
"The ability to feel hurt is an incredible thing; those who give up and drift through life no longer feel pain at all. They are afraid of getting hurt , so they run away,. But you still let yourself get hurt and you haven't given up on getting involved with people , you are strong, really really strong- Johan"
I thought this series had the potential to be a great Netflix show based on its plot. However, I’m finding the character Lee Chae-ha to be too emotionally vulnerable and weak. He is an ex-cop and works with prosecutors—they should know how to handle culprits. Why is he being portrayed as so weak?
I don't know why I didn't like the characterization of Hong U Jin in this season. It seems like he doesn't have much more to do, and his character feels weak.
Logically, I liked the characterization and story in the first season
Honestly, this is my first time watching a drama without much drama—no misunderstandings, jealousy, or unnecessary conflicts. Yet, I somehow liked it. It’s rare to see a mature couple with healthy communication and mutual understanding. In this BL drama, both characters are true green flags.
Beautifully made, but many scenes feel missing. It could have been more beautiful, but the flow breaks in between due to lack of details. There should have been more scenes to connect the moments properly. Until the breakup, it’s hard to even identify whether they are lovers or not—the ambiguity in scenes and communication makes it confusing. It also feels like one-sided affection. We don’t really get any emotional expression from Sugiki’s side. First, he breaks up, and then after six months, he patches up without any proper communication or explanation, which makes the relationship feel emotionally weak and incomplete
