What about this drama makes you think its trying to appeal to western countries? I'm curious because it seems…
The most watched dramas in korean TV are usually Family Kdramas (Once again etc.) while some might watch those dramas like me , the international view rate of such dramas is usually less than 5% , well on the other hand in korea its normal to see rates of 20+% regularly, for example Once again usually hit nationwide rates of 30%-34% which is a pretty huge viewership (arguably the best family drama to watch) compared to nationwide , international audience rarely watch such Kdrama and usually way less compared to kdramas like Goblin , and by "appeal" to western countries i don't mean trying to copy american dramas or that whatsoever, what i mean they will try to advertise those dramas more on Internet websites like ,netflix for example i haven't seen netflix picking up alot of Family dramas but they pick up alot of other dramas. Nonetheless it's amazing that they get such ratings Alchemy of souls was hovering around 5-7% on their first episodes hitting 9% highest in their last episodes.
Considering its a k-drama trying to appeal to western countries it's amazing it's almost hitting 10% nationwide ...some people might be like 10%? Thats alot considering only "family" or "soap opera" as we call them K-Drama usually dominate nationwide.I remember some getting as high as 25%
Also leaning to black guy as some sort of douche is real bad character writing on top. Also no way a girl of that…
When you have "boxer" in the title categorize it as a boxing drama in the trailer...and first episode you show us a teenage girl beating an american boxing champion(you have to understand that in korea boxing is unheard of).How is the plot progressing beautifully ...The trailer disappoints and its nothing about boxing like ...they should just not focus the boxing part in the trailer...Also never said the black guy is a douche but i can see how people can confuse it as "fake racism" .Honestly this drama tries to be unique, but unique it is not. Anyway personal opinion no need to get so into it.I didn't like it thats it

Well expected from directors and screenwriters of korean soap operas...IDK if its the budget or not but dayum it feels very cheap...from cinematography to plot progression
Starting this but like episode 1 ? Guy boxer vs a girl boxer? In a real life scenario if they had a difference in weight of about 20kg just 1 punch and she was knocked out
What was the reason that Juisi's uncle was in jail?
He was a traitor together with the other dude that tried to take over youzhoun...Well you need to ignore some things to enjoy it...Prisoners never become minister but somehow he became lmfao
Top tier Historical kdrama.A true story brought out by beautiful screenwriting and unique acting. Not too focused on 1 thing and but keep the flow going not making you bored one bit. This is a must watch .Please give it a try
Each person has their own number rating. For me 5-7 usually means "middle of the road", not great, but not terrible.…
It all comes to preference.I don't expect everyone to like what i like and i don't expect you to think the same as i do...I thought it was bearable you thought it was that bad ...Totally agreeable
Feels like a really low budget kdrama and acting that felt forced and rushed...With time this could be decent but the planning for it was horrendouslwho is the director holy...
One of my favorite actress to watch on screen after Touch Your Heart,Honestly her newest k-drama True to love(Deborah, serious about dating) wasn't that amazing in my humble opinion but still i watched it.She needs more dramas that flesh out her personality ...Female prosecutor ? I don't know would be fun to watch nonetheless haha
Was a mess but doesn't deserve a 4.0 maybe 6-7 4 means it's one of the worst kdrama out there ... i've watched way worse ...It was okay if you ignored some stuff here and there ...felt like western romance series /
