Probably rating bad cause the manhwa was a bit different with the family situation if i remember correctly , If i remember right he had a sister and her husband is a good for nothing like those investment losers u see in other dramas were they lose all their money being dumb. To be honest it's not such a big deal and i hope like in the manhwa they dont make him reveal his sudden wealth to his family

Yes it's way more serious in adversity the family lives but here it's straight up execution like it was in ancient times.I love that tan seven isn't trying to be cheery in this one cause her situation is very bad ngl.

Cinematography is there , realism is there so i'm expecting actual character development , introductions are done and the situation has unfolded.Acting is a solid 9/10 , Plot is flowing beautifully with not many plot holes.It makes you understand the pains of a low ranking slave even though its a bit beautified for the modern eyes.For those arguing about him having wife blah blah , that's how it was in china in ancient times , Officials just had concubines etc etc. .The ML obviously is not interested in the wife or anyone else yet so why bother complain for something that may or may not happen

I like that she is trying to be more low profile than that dumb other girl that she lives with ...she probably gonna die in a few eps or exiled idk....she will be gone very quickly i feel like

Might be A.I it's not a secret alot of film productions use A.I for multitude of things just look at IQIYI,WeTV using A.I for subtitles ...Unfortunately thats where the world has ended up

It reminds me of blossom in adversity but this one is more desperate. The story of minglan is one of my all time favorites and i agree that cinematography in this is really high quality

Unfortunately , this is how the middle ages were powerful men slept with multiple women it's not a secret and it's a reality.Realism in this one is done excellently and for him to have multiple women is very normal(He might not be intimate with them ) it's not the first time it happens in a costume drama.To be honest this is not a problem with me but it's for you i understand where you are coming from.

What i agree plot was weak almost non existent after a point but the chemistry between the main leads just kept me watching, i think its the first time i enjoyed a drama couple so much

Idk why but the australia part just lowkey feels racism at it's finest , i dont think people are so blatantly racist especially in the aviation industry

This is not a romance story , this is a story about toxicity and waste in the world and to be honest theres no beauty in such a story but it's a well made one and effort counts so 7.5/10
