Just finished it. I think it's an unsatisfying watch to those who've never watched Twin Peaks
I haven't and I was left puzzled and much saddened by the ending. More of that feeling is felt as you try to understand what was going on as you read more comments with 90% of first-hand explanations that it was similar to Twin Peaks.

It was a fun watch and this is the first drama I've ever watched that revolved on only one case. I only watch episodic dramas and this really left me impatient near the ending and realize that part of me about this genre. Still, it was an engaging watch and I watched it for the plot not for the artists---though I was only a bit interested initially since it was one case and not much lighthearted. I watched it in the end because I didn't have much to watch as others I'm more interested in either don't have subs or restricted to members only.

Again, I'm left discontent by the ending. I really was so I'm reiterating it again :(. Gosh I really wish I could just headcannon the opposite but facts are stronger to me.

Edit: I forgot to mention although I enjoyed it mostly, it was a struggle to watch. Most episodes I found had delayed subtitles and delayed audio. So at times, most often, I just turned off the audio, only putting it back up if I wanted to hear how the actors spoke their dialogues.

Title The Plan Man Spoiler
I'm currently half-in in the movie but I've been starting to find it uninteresting since I watched it from an AI narrated clip from another 'platform' beforehand and some top comments were negative on the female lead. I'm kind of saddened, those comments really made me mindful of her forceful behavior. There were times where she was like sure let's not do that, but then they include another scene where she forces something. I just keep interpreting that her actions were made with mostly selfish intentions and that's part of what irks me---making me lose interest in the movie. Additionally, I'd believe it if someone went to the other side just because of getting hit by 'pigeon dung'. I know this was made more than ten years ago, but still, I would just have thought that person was probably very allergic to 'pigeon dung' and not call the 'witness' a liar.

I found some parts funny but I just really don't like most of the female lead's selfishness and foolishness.

If only the manga's lead was also female, I would have also engaged in that also. They adapted the manga but switched the lead's gender, why and what?

I've read the manga and didn't really like the ending. As regarding their relationship, they kissed in front of the whole school and continued their relationship afterwards. The only part I liked there was that the female lead's (now former) friend continued to have her child and gave her 'lover' (the bad guy of fl's life) a reality check while preventing his pursuit of the afterlife.

Previous thought: Morally, I've never liked that they continued their relationship (teacher-student). I get that you two are gradually healing because of each other, but your the adult and you should recognize that you should stop it as soon as it inappropriately furthered.

My memory is a bit hazy on what I shall mention next: The only thing that I liked in the ending was that her friend made the father of her baby get his act together. I'm pretty sure he did bad things to her, I just can't recall, and near in the end he was preparing to go to the afterlife. Then she found him and stopped before his soul has completely left his body.

Just checked, two years passed, but it's implied they continued their relationship during those two years. He just cutting off plants. "Where we left off before, but where was that?" ---Last scene is implied they do the deed.

I don't think I've ever seen this guy before; but I hope your acting career prospers further and you finally get a supporting or lead role.

Absolutely amazing actor. Anyway, his previous picture was very 'apple-of-the-eye' esque, I hope for someone to please bring it back or find a better one if possible.

Does she have a relationship with her student?
I might be remembering wrong but in the manga, they continued their relationship while he's still a teenager. The last chapter, they're together in some house and the guy is like cleaning the yard or something then they eat watermelon.

Edit: Just checked, two years passed, but it's implied they continued their relationship during those two years. He just cutting off plants. "Where we left off before, but where was that?" ---Last scene is implied they do the deed.

It was funny and quite cringy lol, you'll cringe, I mean have a sour face because of second hand embarassment, only on most of the "musical" scenes though. Good watch tho

I'm 4 episodes in but the flow of romance doesn't make much sense to and it's kinda turning me off. Well additionally,…
I couldn't find any webpages that spoiled the end/episode 10 recap so after episode 5, I just skipped to episode 10. Thus for my question, the answer is Aiko didn't end up with anyone but it's likely that her two suitors are still pursuing after her.

bro wtf was that line in episode 5, mc is really insinuating his niece ("Give Kayo 5 years or 10 years, and she'll become a beautiful woman") and the adult guy going after his sister to be in a relationship together just to soothe his future sadness just because of the situation and high chance of Aiko end up not actually remarrying.

I'm 4 episodes in but the flow of romance doesn't make much sense to and it's kinda turning me off. Well additionally, I didn't really like Tabe's character from the start.

:(. I watched for Tabe Mikako, but the jdrama just lacked scenes or impact for me to believe how their love happened. I'm like, how, since when did you start liking the other? I think I could make some sense of what happened, like I'm trying to remember and I think there were scenes where feelings were budding---only for the male lead though (for the female lead, I can barely think of any). However, the logic or pacing just doesn't make sense. After episode 4, I'm conflicted between dropping it or staying for the male lead's sister and if she will end up with someone in the end (though I've disliked her for what she did)

If someone knows, please spoil me.
