Fishy looks familiar, but I can't seem to find her on MDL using the information I got from my photo translator. And she's not tagged on the instagram page like the other actors have been.
The writing was pretty bizarre. But the actors seemed to have a firmer grasp of their characters, and they were…
For one, what was with the drunk dream time travel? We could've spent that time either at the wedding party or with them reminiscing on high school/their past. And then the photograph changed like we're supposed to believe he actually went back and changed the past? I'm confused.
And then we're supposed to believe that Ze Shou remembers kissing Li Gong back at 18? And Li Gong just rolls with it? Or is that part of the time travel nonsense they hinted at?
Also, all the flashbacks to the events of the show... didn't we do a whole bunch of those in the final episodes? We didn't need so many. They should've picked to do those recaps either in the main series or in the special. Not both.
The writing was pretty bizarre. But the actors seemed to have a firmer grasp of their characters, and they were more comfortable with each other. Not a bad watch, but probably wouldn't go back and rewatch honestly.
Depending on where you are... 1) The ex gets fired from his job in Ep1 by Yu Hao. Later on, the ex messes with…
Yea, I stopped part of the way into episode 6. After the ex and his mother steal her phone. I feel like i know exactly where this is going. I'm glad she outsmarts him. But does he at least get barred from the industry? Revealed to everyone else? He's had multiple chances to shut up and get out of the way, so it seems weird that he would suddenly disappear just because he got shown up again.
I have 2 questions that I need the answer to please. I do not mind spoilers at all.
1.) Does the ex and his mom actually get the proper consequences for all the actions they've taken? (This is going to be a determining factor in if i drop or not).
2.) How long till the leads get together? (This is so that I at least have a countdown for something to look forward to while I trudge through this ex and miscommunication mess).
Mm. Maybe. It's just that the scene where she gives the card to him, she finds out that he has a girlfriend, and meets up with her brother feels very much like a "getting off work" kind of scene.
The FL is supposed to be a nuisance. It would be boring if the ML had no obstacles. I just wish she was getting…
Same. And that has equal potential for comedy. And the same stalker/"in love" misunderstanding that keeps popping up.
Or she could be involved because he knows something and isn't willing to share the info. You know, since her mother told him to stay away. And he doesn't want her involved in the danger either. That would be much more tolerable in my opinion. Probably for a lot of other viewers as well.
Why did the FL is convinced that ML did something horrible to her brother??? What is the reason behind FL's brother…
Because the corrupt cops arranged it for the ML to be fall guy and framed him. Not for the murder, but essentially being an accomplice. That his criminal profile purposely led the cops astray, let the murderer get away, etc. There might also be something in there about tampering with evidence that led the brother to getting murdered in the first place. The flashbacks are a little incoherent right now. I'm sure it'll become clearer when the FL finally gets her head out of her prejudices.
I really enjoyed drama but the female lead just get me so irritated it'll be so much better it would just focus…
I tend to get annoyed by her kind of characters a lot. The "best of the best" types that stick to their prejudices even when they actively acknowledge that the prejudice doesnt make sense with the facts they are presented with.
And come on. She supposedly has already exposed several corrupt cops and their operations before the events of this show. She knows that the case that was just solved was the result of a corrupt cop operation. She's willing to believe ML is corrupt cop. Is it really that bizarre to think that maybe the corrupt cops WEREN'T her brother's friends?
is it only me or anyone is suspicious of Prosecutor Cha as Gopuri? I think he is a prosecutor like FL brother…
I've been thinking it since the first time we saw him. He is presented to us as way too squeaky clean. Someone who goes through a lot of effort to keep FL's trust. Like he's keeping an eye on her. He's also way too interested in the Nam Joon developments. And seemed happy that FL wasn't going to sit down and talk with him.
Unless the burn scars are higher up or he's using prosthetic makeup to cover them up, I don't think he's Gopuri. BUT I've been playing with the idea that Gopuri isn't the top dog either. Such a big operation; a top dog would want as little chance of being caught or caught in the blowback as possible. Gopuri is probably just someone in on it all or for hire.
Can anyone recommend me a cute and light student drama like Dear M?
Besides the ones others have listed: I havent finished, but User Not Found strikes me as similar. And up until the final few episodes, Love Equations is really similar in a lot of ways (personalities, roommate dynamics, etc.).
If you're okay with BL, i recommend Light On Me. It has some similar tones and dynamics to this, with a prominent theme around first love. And Enchante has that whole secret/mystery identity and Friends To Lovers component.
