My friends, Hank and Aaron's characters were left open to interpretation. They were never named. They made references, sure - but so did ALL the other cameos (including Li Gong's actor himself) even when they had alternative names. So unless someone has a social media post or interview from someone on the crew or cast, stop going around saying it was confirmed.
But usually they get an older actor for these roles. Or make them look older than he does in the trailer. So,…
Interesting. Like I heard characters and people refer to themselves as such, but I thought it was just one of those widespread exaggerations that we do here in the US sometimes. I didn't know that it's an actual way they view themselves. Thanks for the info.
Taiwanese BL finales are just a big crossover between themselves
And I'm not complaining. I love the crossovers, cameos, and sly references to each other. For one, it excites fans and creates lots of fodder for imaginary scenarios. It also feels like a way to pay homage to the shows and roles that came before.
What was the point of establishing and making comments about Ze Shou’s habit of kissing Li Gong when drunk if nothing was going to come of it? It wasnt used as proof that Ze Shou had feelings. Ze Shou didnt remember any of it. Li Gong never brought it up after they got together, or even in the process. Not even a funny story on their wedding day.
Like did they not know another way to show that Li Gong developed romantic feelings?

Yea, I get that. I've crossed many a drama off my list for the same reason.
I think it really is going to come down to 2 things: How old are both of them? If he is in HS and the other one is significantly older, will there be a time jump and separation before they get together?

The description tells me its probably an age gap of 20 years or more. But based on the quote at the top, I also think there's going to be a time-jump in there somewhere.
How are you going to say that y'all had met before when you never talked, and she never looked at you? You were just a bystander to her break-up. That's the one part that doesn't make sense to me.

Stumbled across this video of it. They didn’t put the title in the video title or caption (probably to avoid it getting taken down). https://youtu.be/jv_lh6SGDaM
There are a few other uploads now with the name in the video title, but the image quality is really blurry. This one is the most clear that I can find with english subtitles.

It totally is!
I'm looking forward to them being on screen together again.
