I feel like the bartender is still straight out of a stiff vampire movie more times than not though. Kinda like the Cullen family. I hope he gets more into the swing of things. I'm withholding any harsh judgement though - since it is his first project.

I still love the fact that our laundromat owner has a coffee brewing habit. When Bii's character in Bromance did it, it was always very charming. I also think their (bartender and laundromat owner's) two interests are pretty complimentary.

Omg. The opening scene for episode 5 is hilariously cheesy. I haven't seen a fight scene that cheesy in years. Or at the very least, not in new releases. XD

So in EDT/GMT-4, its available at least from 12a/0h. It might be earlier than that.

Lol. Ive been enjoying Plus and Minus. I would say its worth a try (so long as you're fine with slower paced dramas). As for the dude, he's been on a bunch of pages. Cutie Pie. SCOY. A few other ones. He generally stays on his own threads. No clue why he didnt that time. He also said he was dropping the drama - so he's probably not gonna be on the page?

Awww - you don't know how much that means to me. Thank you. I keep wondering if I was justified or not. I really did try to be civil, and had seen him on a good many comment sections and was always polite to him or left him to his own threads. I genuinely don't know why he suddenly started going after me like that. (Although i will say that I regret replying to him with "if you don't like it quit watching" after seeing all of this feedback about that phrase).

I blocked him, so I'm not sure what happened on that thread after that (if anything can, considering it was under my thread) or how much is even still up. But yea. That was an upsetting day.

Not yet, no. I dont know why the timer says it did. But no, its not released on either GagaOOlala (which is pretty immediate) or Viki (which tends to have a delay). Which time zone are you in?

Mmm. Sorry about that hon. I personally really liked it but i can definitely understand that it wouldn't be for everyone. If you did want to go into why you didn't like it - I'd be open to hearing about it in messages.

My father raised me with a whole lot of debate and devil's advocate scenarios. And i spent way way to much time growing up reading and watching stories where one person made a difference in conflicts. And like i know that my intervention will probably not do anything, but i feel the need to at least try anyway.

Oh wow. I didn't realize that was going down in the Bad Buddy review section. That be real petty. I don't recall seeing the posses, but i believe you that they were more than likely there. I think it might've been one of those shows that I was only mainly active the day of airing - so I wouldnt have seen how it developed. I generally thought everyone had pretty comprehensive comments, so I didn't feel needed beyond liking a few of those.

I actually met my pen-pal here on MDL after defending her from a posse of haters. Seeing someone get harassed for harmless opinions or valid points really grinds my gears. Especially if no one else is sticking up for them.

I'm an author and a book editor. So same.

I think the only drama from the Bad Buddy page was that one person spamming the page and talking like the drama was a wannabe porno. That's all that I remember anyways.

And of course the divisive opinions about the time skip.

I think me and OP are mainly referring to the tendency to either strongly dislike or strongly like the show. There aren't too many comments that bring up both - and those threads tend to be very short-lived, in contrast to the all-or-nothing threads.

The actual discourse, I agree with you - it's not very civil. And several pages are that way. And not just the popular dramas either. On this page, it's the critics that are being hounded. On another page, its the fans that are (Kinnporsche being one, last I checked). I've been attacked on one of the lesser known ones for praising a show and explaining why i liked it - complete with name calling and threats to keep coming around to the comment section just for my comments.

I'm of the mindset that if you don't want to actually have a civil discussion and listen to the other side (a key criteria for a discussion vs an argument), you shouldnt be commenting on threads of another opinion. Simple as that. Critics and fans alike.

I'm trying to remember the Bad Buddy page while it was airing. I was active but I'm not remembering anything. Now Not Me, on the other hand, that was crazy.

Ratings on any platform aren't really a reflection of quality. And it comes with the territory. All forms of art are open to interpretation, personal taste, and viewer perceptions.

If you go to the drop down menu with your profile/settings/etc., you'll see a feeds option where you can make your own posts separate from a drama's page. You can also access it from a users'/your profile page - alongside the reviews, recs, stats, etc tabs.

I think it started from the beta app and then got carried over to the site? Could be wrong though. It's got it's own tab on the app.
