It is possible to say that word without it being totally nasally, right?
Yes. Hia has been seen in dramas before. But for some reason Cutie Pie and Between Us chose to have it with whiny characters (making it sound nasally), and on repeat at that.
Best parts of this episode: 1.) Win being mischievous. Lol. The way he held that phone up. 😆 2.) Well, if we didn't know it before, we do now. Waan and Win are 100% related. And skipping steps is totally in their genetics. 3.) Lol. Wiew is so innocent. And convincingly so. Santa has some good acting chops. Here's to hoping Cooearth being type-casted doesnt lead to Santa being type-casted as well.
Totally agree. Just wanted to share a fun fact though:This is considered to be the first BL drama announced to…
Depends on definition. Some people use remake and adaptation as synonyms. And some languages don't make the distinction at all, introducing complications in translation that may have previously been unconsidered by translators.
Regardless though, the keyword here is "drama," Korea's Why R U is considered the first announced remake/adaptation of a story previously seen as a drama from another country. It might be a true remake (only taking into account the Thai drama), or it might be more of an adaptation (taking into account only the original book, or both the book and drama into consideration). We'll probably know more when we hear more information. This production is quite quiet, like a lot of kdramas.
Thailand's Cherry Magic would probably be the second (even though that one has already been explicitly stated to be almost solely in reference to the manga) by this same metric.
GagaOOlala cleaned up the subtitles since it dropped, but is anyone else noticing that the subtitle timing is off? Ive tried on several different devices, logged in and out, and everything. Theyre just not lining up to where theyre supposed to be. At some point the subtitles get ahead of the actual scene, and it just stays that way.
No clue. They dont tend to announce why. Maybe it didnt pass the censorship board. Maybe a problem came up with one of the cast members. Maybe they were too many similar stories at the time. Maybe they lost funding during the editing stage. 🤷♀️ Your guess is as good aa mine.
"Shifu, I don't care if you're a demonic cultivator. You're the only shifu I'll ever answer to in this life. If you want to save the world, I'll guard you back. If you want to destroy the world, I'll hand you your blade."
does anyone know if the 6th episode has come out? i can't find it anywhere. are they skipping this week?
Not skipping. Just hit a delay for some reason. Viki's will be up later today (which is pretty standard). GagaOOlala is already but, but the subtitles are a bit of a mess, so I would hold off for a bit while they fix them.
Crying over a 2 minute video. What's wrong with me? It was so gorgeous! And I believe it still holds considerable impact even if you havent watched the parent series.

Not gonna lie. This line is *chef's kiss*! Wooo.
But yea, Viki tends to be delayed for a few possible reasons. But it says it'll be available today as well.
