Such a sweetheart, she's glowing. It's exceptional, beautiful cinematography, episode 1 is as perfect an introduction as I've seen. I'll watch the rest, I can't resist such high quality drama.

Ep 15 too, what a fantastic cameo by Nam Gi-ae, great performance. Her best line brought a tear to my eye: "I... never got to live my own life", she delivered it perfectly (at around 04:15)

It had some genuine laughs too, marvellous characters, lots of fun and good natured entertainment.

Agree, manga needs to be rewritten to make good tv or film, otherwise it comes across a bit inconsistent and boring.

She probably did, it's a power trip. The only scene I really liked in this drama was the one where she was wearing a bathrobe and dominated his little mind.

Narrative all over the place but good actors and decent production quality. The lead actress is charismatic and pretty, her character is more or less steady throughout. My main criticism is the way characters show their flaws/nuance only when convenient to turn the narrative, otherwise there's no psychology in their demeanors and dispositions. If you've ever seen a Japanese drama you'll roll your eyes at seeing the same, mop-haired, disaffected-but-brilliant male character. I've figured out why they exist - it allows a weak writer to use them to manipulate the plot on a whim - the dude had 4 personalities. Verdict: tedious.

Thanks... my rule of blocking is either crass stupidity, fakes/bots or activists. That dude sounds like a wounded kid in a playground argument at school, pretty harmless. The more worked up they get, the funnier it gets.

Agree with @GayinYourArea, you sound like a demented fan. I reckon Blackpink's breakup announcement is just around the corner. Or Ji-soo's resignation. Don't you think their agencies hold enough clout to incentivise Dispatch not to publish this if they wanted? Something's not adding up.

Isn't it considered a scandal if two people of different background, age, class, intellect, talent... date? How desperate is Ji-soo to be accepted as an actress? She wants good parts that are above her level... parts that belong to better actresses... that's scandalous too.

I can see the trade off, but not the compatibility in this case. She wants to act. Maybe he (his agent) wants to gain extra followers from hers - I hear that #followers can help secure roles these days, especially for Netflix productions, the ones where money sets the bar.

It's brilliantly acted, especially Jeon Hye-jin and Choi Soo-young. It's quirky. The only questionable thing is a minor distraction, I can't stop staring at Soo-young's lips.

Series 1 is a classic example of making a mockery of the audience. How does anyone tolerate such absurd narratives?
