I think he needs a spell in jail, he's responsible for this assault on the public. Wow. Instantly gone off him, if I was trying to catch a plane this would have really pissed me off. What a numpty.
I was wondering which Lee Hye-ri you were talking about. It's Girl's Day's Lee Hye-ri, thanks for the clarification. No thanks for the apostrophe hell... well it would have been if you'd got the grammar right in the pop group, I guess you messed it up this time. Keep trying, lo-ve.
This looks fun, I like the domestic partner who's a spy scenario. They actually wrote this on the poster: Yum Jeong-Ah "Alienoid"... it can't be as boring as Alienoid. Speaking of which, how did they f that up? I digress. But what a dial tone that was.
He was exceptional in CLOY. It's my only re-watched Kdrama (several times!) and every time I learn something new…
Yes, he's the most lovable rascal. I loved that sulky scene where he tried to bid the long farewell to Ji-hye at the airport and she cut him off mid flow. So funny.
This fan has been waiting to watch LR and finds Viki (and other viewing options) to be too cumbersome, so I welcome…
Yes, that's another good point... the subtitling team announces itself on top of drama content (a faux pas), despite making the most errors of all the providers!

Totally agree about Viki. I can tolerate them losing my progress, poor navigation etc, but not the childish subtitles. Subtitles are supposed to be discreet - yet they assault me with song lyrics interleaved with actual dialogue and stupid shout-outs. I stopped using it a year ago, haven't looked back so far.
netflix getting worse, lately they've added a lot of 'new' shows and movies but actually old, also a lot of good…
It's because of broadcast rights. If they pass on a drama they have to wait until the exclusive period elapses in each region, or they do a contract with Viki/whoever holds them. In a way it would be bad if Netflix held a monopoly - even though it's my favourite distributor by far. It would hold too much clout in Korea and have (even more) power to influence production decisions.
Netflix started with great distribution of network dramas, and I love that. They are now chipping away and influencing the style, even on network shows... and also, k-content is nearing saturation point, like US tv, so the best material is getting harder to find.
K-dramas lose their appeal if they do that. I love the culture... if I watch a Spanish drama, I don't want to see a patronising dumbed-down version... I want to see true Spanish culture. Same for everywhere. For a while back in the 80s/90s the UK tried to make a few films to pander to the US audience and they were universally hated because they were patronising, tedious and clearly saying "please give us your cash" like a charity. Who wouldn't hate that?
What's it about? 🤔 Je-hoon signed up on the condition there'll be a Signal 3. It's about a special microwave oven where he can heat up someone's breakfast 10 years in the future.
Wow, amazing, it's becoming a mega-film, hope there's enough room for all the big stars to breathe! I'm most excited to see Son Ye-jin being a movie star again.
Thanks for the update LA, good to know. They're a bit late to the party, fans have already watched Lovely Runner. Not surprised Wonderland flagged, everyone knows it was a resucitation and an anthology, not a proper movie. I'll watch it though, along with Mission Cross which looks like it could be entertaining.
