That bouncer couldn't protect anyone, she wasn't even looking for assailants and she's manhandling our beloved artists. If there's a genuine threat, the responsible action from Cannes is to inform the stars, seek cooperation and erect a corridor with a glass screen... not rough them up. She's a bouncer.
My number 1 from this batch is Midnight Romance. Atypical is also entertaining but lacking in depth and consistency. I predict single digits for Connection next week, average scores for SBS, might give it a try but the cast doesn't attract me so it's hard to drag myself away from the gems in the Kocowa treasure chest.
I don't have a subscription to Disney+, so pass, I guess.
Me too. Fuck you, Disney π€ͺ This cast looks like they threw out a fishing line with cash on the end and reeled it in. All over the place. It's a hot mess before it starts. You know when a non-artist has a go at doing modern art? You get styling like this, yuk, no taste.
I love the characters, narrative's a little haphazard but I don't care. I'm excited for the upcoming finale this week. Obviously not because of the shock end to episode 10, hope it was nothing serious.... looking at the mum happily at the wheel I got more and more nervous and thought 'μ€λ§!' surely not, please!! I'm excited to see PD Han Ye-seul! Could it be....? μ€λ§ (again), I can hope! I'm currently watching and rewatching her past dramas, some of her work is groundbreaking, her characters are groundbreaking in one way or another and I don't think I've ever noted her contributions to date. I'd love to see her and will be disappointed if it's just a coincidence!
What are you talking about, changing the subject to feminism where it's not needed. It's not a fucking competition.…
Barbie wasn't publicised as a woke, feminist film, hence if made money by lying to women and girls that loved what Barbie stood for. Lying like you... $150bn? π

I don't care about your ethnicity or country, Asia's a huge continent. I didn't ask you to prove anything. I'm starting to pity you, your argument broke down a while back. Disappointed but not surprised to see you have nothing to back up the buzz words.

Japanese-American I assume. 3rd or 4th generation? You young, woke Americans are pretty unstable in the head, stop being a loser. Using your ethnicity as leverage? Your gender? Born in the USA but don't like it when you don't get special treatment? Just because something doesn't go your way doesn't mean misogyny is involved, it's your personality. π«°
Idk if people are purposely ignoring your point but I agree with everything you said, imagine how good a drama…
They are, watch more. It depends on the story, pick one where the lead-lead character is female. Try Hwang Jin-yi, Ha Ji-won, it draws parallels with the modern world, set in a time where male and female roles in society were clearly drawn. That's a strong female lead if ever I saw one, a proper one. (Not like the lazy, literal modern American interpretations of 'strength'.)

Also, men don't complain when they see a nude man, men are easy going. Women complain when they see... what?.... a beautiful woman. What do feminists hate? How dare a beautiful woman show enough flesh to raise the heartbeats of their men? I saw an actress in a bikini scene the other day. I love her, she's a true heroine. That's what I regard as a strong woman...
Seriously, I've never heard of any of them π
