I Am thoroughly satisfied with this ending .. I was smiling and crying all at the same time! Like my emotions were all over the place with this one and Im gonna miss this.. I havent cried watching a mordern cdrama in a while and I barely watch mordern cdrama but I must say.. This one really came thru and saved my mordern cdrama slump.. A 10 hands down, i mean what a sexy drama, what a sexy man.. Jing Boran was the devil and I was worshipping that man every damn day 😩❤️
Finally finished it.. But Im not happy with how Yu Guodong died 😩 I wanted him to be imprisoned and his reputation ruined while he was still alive, his death was too easy for him.. He did so many horrible things to be let with just a mere death..
I have a love and hate relationship with modern cdramas 😩 they always give you that tingling feeling but also give you a FL that dresses so bad.. Like is this reality? In a corporate job in China, employees dress so casual? Why do they always dress the FL so bad.. Theres an episode where shes wearing yellow shoes .. Like TF is that? Huh!? And I always notice this in other dramas as well.. Its rare where you find a FL dressed nice even tho shes from an average family..

Riiiight!? Historical dramas have been really bad lately.. I enjoyed PoJ till the end.. Also Blossoms of Power was excellent ad well for me, KTTPH was so so.. I dropped alot as well, like legend of rosy clouds, Ashes to Crown.. And I love Wuxia setting dramas but I just couldnt continue.. It wasnt bad, I just fell asleep everytime I tried catching up.
I think this year I have enjoyed a few historical dramas and this one will be on that list of the dramas I enjoyed this year.. Its different in a way I cant explain.. But im really loving it
Zhao Ling is such the greenest flag, like literally a green forest.. Even when he was at odds with our FL he still had respect for her and her reputation.. He mightve acted like a brute but hes the softest inside, And whats even cool our FL sees what we're seeing, she might not say it but she definitely sees how different this handsome bandit is..
