I saw a comment on X in the aftermath of this new announcement and kind of agreed. They raise concerns over the production, script, hoping that it's really good because Mone is really the actor here. She's a veteran in that field compared to them and even though she wears many hats, it's her main Job. The 2nd lead, 3rd lead, 4th lead are all Idols/singers. Even though they have acted in other productions but it was at the most special appearance or in most instances they didn't have a lot of screentime. I remember seeing some Mukai fans on X be happy that he'll finally be in a drama where he's going to have a lot of screentime as opposed to his last TV drama where he was there for a few seconds in many episodes.
I know that the production team of Koitsudu and Bosskoi where Mone was the Main Lead are working in this drama too. Also these dramas did extremely well ratings wise.Koitsudu was literally a phenomenon in Japan at the time.
Anyways, I liked what I saw from the 1st trailer so let's see... .I can see some concerns with the 3 ML leads being mostly Idols( nothing wrong with that but they don't have a lot of Acting experience compared to other Japanese idols who do the same). Please I hope that their fans don't take offense. I'm sure they'll do a good job, just hoping that the script is solid.
I hope that the rest of actors who will be announced after are mostly actors in the industry including some veterans. .. to balance things out a bit . I'm sure that will be the case 🙂🙂.
But wow TBS is too powerful. Getting all of these people in a drama is crazy.
Omg they just announced the guy from Green Apple 🍏 and Mone friend as well as the 4th cast.. Seriously what is TBS Budget 😱😱😱? They literally casted 3 male actors from the most popular groups in Japan: Green Apple, Snowman and Milk.
Who is going to sing the OST??? 😅😅😅. Generally TBS choose popular or respected acts for OST of these dramas but with the 3 current popular acts in Japan currently idk. Previously I thought that it would be Snowman since Mukai is the ML but now with the guy from Green Apple whose band is even more popular than Snowman IDK.
So excited for October 🥳🥳. I loved the trailer and Mone has a lot of chemistry with both actors and also Omarisan who has just been added. Phew....
So happy to see my girl Mone back at the coveted October TBS drama slot for the 3rd time. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but this may be a 1st for an actress of her generation. Also she's playing a dual role. Queen of ratings 🙌🙌🙌.

More importantly I'm glad to see her back on TBS. I know that she has been extremely busy with plays, Mcs, movies, writing books, music .....but I'm glad to see her back on prime-time TV 🫶🫶( and she is appearing in the 2027 Taiga next year as the ML's wife with 1 of my favorite Japanese actor)

Another recent Tencent drama( Ryan's drama) was also a Tencent/weTV exclusive as well just like this one. Idk why Tencent is doing this with some of their big dramas.
