Oh I see. Is LYFS2 still airing? For ABAY to go ahead with this drama that already has a cult following from the season 1 is an accomplishment in itself I feel like..plus it's a costume drama.

Anyways, I just hope that Seven and Xu Kai will be awarded for their acting at the end of the year awards.... whichever it is. I can't get over their break up scene in particular that was so well acted.
So many dramas get awarded for less.

They aired their variety show in February when the drama didn't air until July. At least we got another special episode released in July but still.
ABAY promo was kind of all over the space and Tencent didn't even bother to promote it well imo . I'm just glad that despite everything it lowkey exceeded expectations performance wise.
Princess Royal ended before ABAY yet they're getting new materials almost daily for either hi6 and I just saw one from Youku ( some sort of celebration dinner).
Also if I'm not mistaken Tale of Rose was solely through Tencent it seems and it didn't seem like it aired on TV; someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Oh yeah she's rumoured for a Modern one but it's less romance focused. More like personal growth, family values....Hopefully we'll hear more news about it soon.

Yeah unfortunately I don't see Seven Collab with partners twice but then idk what this recent Weibo rumour about her potentially reuniting with song Wei Long ( idk if you have heard about it) in another project is about. Never say never. I didn't think she would finally say yes to a Xianxia yet we are getting Xiao Yao next year so who knows 🤷🤷?

If this turns out to be true then wow. I would have loved another Collab with Bailu since I loved them in story of kunning Palace but maybe bc of all the drama that happened in their personal life with the rumours maybe it's a CP we won't see reunite anytime soon🫤. What a shame.

I would love to see Seven and Xu Kai work together again on another project. I'm low-key envious of the princess royal leads who seem to have now a modern drama almost confirmed after their very recent collaboration 👏👏.
