Lol probably because he is a rising actor and has a popular drama that ended not too long ago and another one that will air in a few months....blossoms of power. The C industry is so shady.
Sometimes news like this is being brought up to promote the other party ......especially if she has something coming up soon (like it was mentionned). Good old black marketing.

Also Kudos to Esther for being responsive in these scenes...I see people mostly appreciating Heyu kissing scenes which is great but we also have to acknowledge that Esther isnt just passive in these scenes.

Some SOLOS act like this (and that goes with every actor fandom....and also from what I have read some of these solos were fans of her other Cps (not anymore) and they are masquerading this hate that they have towards SAL instead of airing their true grievance about it lol.
Esther was unfortunately hit by malicious rumours and lowkey bullied on her social media last year (if you go to some of her Instagram pics for the past 6 months and read the comments , you will see) but this is NOT a reason to attack a drama that she loves so much.....literally her 3 pinned comments on Instagram are SAL.....she expressed it in so many ways how much she loves this drama besides that.....
Also I think that some of them dislike it because Esther got a lot of hate as well from this drama from random drama watchers...you know the usual her voice, her character, mannerims that people like to talk about when every of her drama airs....they would praise the ML and drag her....but again that gives them no reason to be so hateful towards a drama that she worked so hard on .
I just ignore their nonsense...I am pretty sure I have that account blocked.

I am sorry but you cant really call yourself a fan if you vehemently hate a piece of work that your fave loves. Fine you dont like it but to express your hate towards the drama everytime you can is a bit too much.
Dont get me wrong , I have other favorite actors who have dramas that I dont really like but I dont go around and trash it or speak ill about it and that's the difference. That behavior is no worse than antis imo.

Also if it is because of the RL shipping...I mean Esther is known for having excellent chemistry with her actors and quite frankly is really shipped with some of them so Idk why they seem to have such a strong reaction to the people who do that shipping on SAL compared to some of the actors she was/is shipped with previously ....I cant remember seeing some of them act like this with some of her other ships so I just call the whole thing hypocrisy tbh.

Yeah this is 1 of the few modern dramas where supporting characters were really great imo and added to the story, the plot somehow....I swear they are so many dramas here that just makes you want to fastforward anytime x or y supporting character is onscreen and often times, it is because they dont add much to the plot .

I dont know what it is about this drama that makes it so hard to move on :( :( :(.

wow I didnt know that it ranked that high and that's impressive .In some ways yes I think...her character of Geng Geng is still so memorable till this day. But I would say that Go Ahead years later, cemented her status to to speak.

It would be nice if we could see cooperation between Chinese actors and korean actors like we are now seeing with chinese actors and japanese actors but I think that the ban in place with china and korea would make it hard to happen...not sure if it has been lifted.

I really dont think she is attending even though I see some Melons including her name.....I think that she will be filming.

I am sorry but this was always expected.....especially since if I am not mistaken the FL is in some ways involved with yuzheng company.
This man is notorious in the industry for doing dramas to promote his artists by using X or Y lead to do so..... I have seen it happen with other actors.

He did the same thing to Xu Kai in Snow eagle Lord....and guess what ? The FL in that drama is the same FL as the one from the Glory.
XK screentime in that drama was almost like a special appearance and he was the 1st billed actor ... , he even had less screentime than other supporting actors in some episodes (a lot of them were Yuzheng artists).....I remember his fans were so pissed at the time......and the crazy thing is that XK is in Yuzheng company and he still did this...used him to promote his other artists...so can you imagine with someone who is not even his artist?
I highkey knew that the same thing would happen to Neo as soon as I heard about this drama and Yuzheng being involved and looks like I was right.....

This is why Kiwis didnt want him to take this project in the 1st place and why I was even apprehensive on it when I knew that Yuzheng was involved with his actors. I have seen it happen with other dramas and his other actors......it just never bode well for whoever is involved in the production especially if you are 1 of the leads.

So glad to see him thrive with his latest drama.
I have always rooted for him since Find yourself and Go Ahead. If Im not mistaken this drama that just ended is his biggest hit yet since Go Ahead which was like 6 years ago? I know that he had problems with his company and sued them /asked to leave which is why his career slightly stagnated after GA but I am so glad that he has been doing really well since the past 2/3 years.

It is kind of weird that some of these people who are probably loving him on his new drama have been dragging him for years for his acting. I feel like I was sometimes in the trenches defending him at times on SNS. Idk why some people have always been fixated on saying that he cant act when Find yourself and GA are there.....anyways,.............

He is a great actor (despite what some people like to think) and he deserves this.
I also enjoyed his drama with Angela Baby ....(except for 1 unnecessary character who had too much screentime for my liking with the most horrendous storyline that I ranted about in that drama comment section that spoiled the whole drama for me seriously). They had amazing chemistry,

The damage has already been done smh.....at least he didnt suffer from it longterm.

I think that it is mostly because she only had 1 drama released last year and it was literally almost 3 weeks ago; also that drama is a iqyi production....so they tend to attend iqyi scream night which is later in the night.
I would also love to see her on weibo night but I dont think she will attend....since she may have a little free time before she starts filming again, she might attend events next month or in March...Im pretty sure she is attending something at the end of this month...cant remember what it is.

a sequel could be nice :).
