Agreed with this! I also like how they had Pan Kai who was interested in Mumu be an actual friend to her. I grew…
Very well said; a very solid supporting cast that added to the story. I realized towards the middle/end of how much I missed the Thailand episodes where we had that group of friends hanging out together...just chilling. It was so nice.
I don't get it, why is the rating stuck at 8.5. This is easily a 9.0 star drama.
Well tbh I was afraid of the ratings being worse ...you know MDL so 8.5 is already good enough for me. Plus I saw how some people were attacking Esther online when it was airing so I was definitely expecting worse.
Happy ending? I read some comments where ppl were grieving over the end
we are just grieving because the drama is over :(...only 10 days to hype it....it is a happy ending. I just finished watching it and I am now trying to keep up with all the contents I missed...behind the scenes, IG, weibo, tiktok....posts.
I do not have patience for this type of protagonist who hides everything and does not open him mouth to say anything,…
Trust me I was so annoyed with it. 6 years no contact; she kept sending him messages on how she was doing, her mom, her life, university life, saying how she missed him, she wanted something , anything ...she even said a thumbs up on a message would be fine nothing. She went to Thailand when she could, saw their friends, his family....nothing...he told them to not give him news about him at all.
Unlike some other dramas where this happens and we dont even get a clear explanation of why the ML behaved that way....I think that the show did a good job on explaining WHY he acted that way....the part of her seeing her born, how she was always sick, fragile, ....and because of what he experienced he never wanted her to feel pain or aggrieved.....I still think that he should have given her that choice like he finally did towards the end but I get where he is coming from even though I still didnt like it....that was just his personality too.
I felt like she should have made him suffer even more before reconciling with him but he already suffered too much physically and emotionally so I am torn :/
I love that there was no toxic 2nd female lead or 2nd male lead....yeah the girl who was infatuated with zhao at the beginning was going to maybe be a problem but I am glad that they nipped it into the bud and didnt drag it...The scene were she tells mumu about zhao and how his life was, how she felt in love with him....idk I liked that scene. She knew that she didnt stand a chance and quite frankly stayed in her lane....so many dramas have these type of plots that the other love interests that the leads dont like keep trying their luck and it is so annoying and redundant.
Even mumu senior in Canada....I thought that maybe they were going to turn him into a loved sick puppy who is obsessed with her or 2nd,3rd male lead....but I am glad that they didnt go down that route...they were just friends, seniors, juniors, colleagues....no romantic inclinations there....more of it please....A very refreshing take that this drama did.
Compared to a year ago on MDL,Go Aheadadded around 20k+ more watchers and stillgrowing. It could be the influence…
Go Ahead is a masterpiece....no wonder it even got a Kdrama adaptation this year....won a lot of awards...this is the drama of Seven who got her the big breakout as the 1st billing(Under the power before that was extremely successful too but she was not 1st billed if I am not mistaken) I rewatched it again the other day and realized how excellent this drama was...how I loved her and Song weilong chemistry too. Even till this day, I would see random clips of it going viral and it is mostly from her performance.
Yes omg the airing was so fast. I am still watching but it's so good ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
His face looked familiar to me as I was watching it and I learned later that he was the ML in a short cdrama/web drama from a few years ago(I never got to finish it). What revelation...he is going to be so booked after this. Love how this became his breakout role and it so deserved.
I binge watched the drama but now I am trying to keep up with all the contents I missed, behind the scenes, thai sweet (that I didnt watch , just some clips) and more that keep dropping ....
I wished it was better spaced out for the release especially when they filmed it for a long time...but it is what it is I guess.
The fact that Esther even said that she still has so much content that she didnt get to share just said it all...
wow I am seeing on X that so many scenes got cut because of censorship :/. No wonder I felt the vibes with some scenes missed something or were incomplete.
The bathub scene...I knew it....given zhao's personality in the drama, he would have definitely pulled mu mu and yet.........
This scene was cut and deleted too? Jiang Mu pulled by Jin Zhao in the bath tub and soaked in the water. Look at the behind the scenes. #SpeedAndLove

It is unfortunate; you film a drama for months, wait a while for it to air and then it suddenly drops like this and in only 10 days it is over. We dont even get the chance to fully enjoy/hype it...that was too short. We didnt get the chance to enjoy a lot of promo/contents and it was already over :/ This is why I tend to like how Kdramas do where a drama air for like 2/3 months No wonder Esther said that she still had so much content tiktok videos, pics that she didnt get to share.
