This is such an interesting take and it even makes sense… somehow ppl only go with
Both lead happy and no one dies = happy ending
One dies or open ending = sad ending
And overlook everything else,, so seeing such a fresh and sensible take on it feels good.

Yeah and that’s fine. I mean who doesn’t want a HE.. but c dramas esp the costume ones have always been open ended or sad ones.. growing up it was frustrating but somewhat reminded us that not every story ends happily and that was what we always expected.. HE were rare happy surprises but sad endings weren’t crucified like this.. that’s all.. we were frustrated but we kinda were used to it

Coming down in a Mdl page of a drama that u don’t like of a ml that u don’t like, aren’t y’all too unemployed? And get urself some glasses cos did u just said ml can’t act when he gave such a wonderful performance for whatever was written for his character?

It’s ok to not like someone but dismissing someone’s actual hard work coz You don’t understand acting, looks like a YOU Problem to me

Oh, I hope u didn’t stopped TUS only for the ending rumors.. I mean if ur an avid c drama watcher, xianxia with open ending has always been the norm.. happy ending is a rarity

It’s so good. Idk why ppl are unnaturally unfair with this drama. This is like many many other famous xianxia dramas we have seen where there are open endings

Maybe cos not everything has to be vomitted out just someone has a platform. There’s a reason Mdl is called toxic, either u can’t express ur honest opinions without being blocked or u just be straight up rude and a hater just cos u know u have a platform and a “right” to voice out whatever…

Ppl are way too rude and negative, the thing is ppl don’t have to camp under a drama page they didn’t even like and sound obnoxious & dismissive of a drama like a hater, that’s what a hater does… honest opinions, disappointments and constructive criticisms are and shud be welcomed which some obsessive fans need to understand btw.. but unfairly rating a drama lower, being mean and dismissive makes one look unemployed.

And lastly, rating a drama 1 is extreme, I’ve rated even the ones I dropped above 5, maybe that’s just basic decency for me coz unless a drama is morally corrupt, offensive and putting out a wrong message I don’t see why anyone can’t even have the decency to at least higher than a 3 or 4

Same coz if that gorgeous, kind and beautiful man was in front of me, I wud anything to make him mine

Thank god… mdl has become so toxic, obsessive fans whether of another actor or another cp will do anything to berate another drama… ppl take ‘I have a platform and I will spew negative stuff all I want’ way too seriously as if it’s a paid job…..

Constructive criticism and honest opinions are one thing but over dramatization and dismissal of a drama is another..

honestly it’s not even bad u know, this was clearly an 8.4 or above drama.. but ppl were unnaturally harsh with this drama..

My precious baby, he did such a good job… his acting was amazing and his visuals was as usual god like… thank u for playing another phenomenal role my love

When are they going to start the production? Can’t wait but hopefully the princess won’t be the female lead please… nothing against Xi Wei but good god that character was downright the most irritating fl ever

The ratings dropped and I don’t get the hate this drama is getting like.. ok we have opinions but wow, ppl are straight up comparing to other dramas & that’s unfair.. ppl talking abt seven’s acting and voice, it’s understandable if ur new to xianxia dramas, it may seem cringe at first ..but if ur an avid xianxia watcher who liked lbfad or lyst then it shud not be anything new for u at all….

And some of the biggest complaints I saw was how familiar it was which if ppl didn’t notice are 90% of xianxia all the times. so, just don’t watch it when ur overwhelmed with xianxia, watch it when u crave for that xianxia romance. And lastly,

Opinions are always gonna be diff, not everyone has to like the same thing coz that’s normal. I’ve dropped some of the most famous dramas too, in fact so popular if I say the name, I might even get cancelled here.. but I dropped it coz it was not for me.. there’s another 8.9 rated drama that I BARELY finished coz it was THAT boring but what u won’t see me do is go to their page and write negative rude review dismissing their hard work..

yes you have a platform and u can write what u think but coming here, dropping the ratings and writing rude comments acting like a know-it-all Oscar jury esp when you have NOT even bothered to complete one episode does not make u look cool, its make ya look unemployed..
