Ok as c drama fans, how many times have we got HE? There have been more ambiguous and sad ending than HE in c dramas. So, for those who have been watching this drama and liking it, I hope the ending wasn’t a deal breaker..
For me this was good, yes there were loopholes and i was not fond of Minghao not having more screen time but the acting from the leads especially the ML made it so much worth it.. his micro expressions, beautiful expressive eyes and acting killed it… I’m adding 2 extra points solely for him, his god tier visual and extremely good acting.. I can see the hard work and dedication he put in this role…… Neo hou in costume fantasy drama is another level of phenomena…
I personally didn't rate this as I dropped it at ep. 10 (so don't come after me :P) but the overall childish vibe…
The thing is it’s not abt the rating, so many whack dramas easily get 8.5 and more …also coming from someone who didn’t drop this drama and kept continuing it, it’s sooo good in second half.. and from what I see in comments, many ppl are enjoying it so all I meant is it shud reflect in the ratings but its so strange its not moving neither up or down, it’s like it’s completely stuck.. so that’s why I wondered

Like… ppl are very much enjoying the plot twists and story of second half.. there are lots of comments and ppl discussing the plot so why is the rating stuck at 8.2.. it’s been stuck since days, I hoped for atleast 8.4 or 8.5 for TUS… only 2 days left 😩 Ppl need to rate the drama higher.. also the heat index 🙏

To everyone dropping bcoz of this being a typical xianxia drama, I wud suggest watching something else first.. go for a diff genre and after watching few of those, you can always come back here… the thing I found with many ppl not liking this is coz it felt like a same old cliche xianxia romance drama to them & sometimes watching costume dramas for a long phase may feel boring..
So, you can just put it on hold, watch a diff genre and when that craving for xianxia romance, visual aesthetics and all the cgi stuff hits, instead of rewatching something, you can pick this up and till that time, it will end as well so it will be a continuous watch with no waiting.. I’m sure u will like it at that time.. at least more that what you are feeling now .. try it, I’m sure it will bring a change in how u feel abt this drama
To everyone who is comparing this drama to the other one, you don’t have to compare, trust me.. if these were released at diff times, you wouldn’t compare.. Genuine opinions are respected but if u compare one to the other, there will be biases and flaws in one of them…. just enjoy the drama, that’s it

HMH in costume drama is ultimate gorgeousness and we all know it but how is it possible that he looks even more gorgeous the more u see him in costume dramas. I thought after litc I’ve seen it all, like I’ve seen every gorgeous side of him but no… he looks so damn gorgeous and innocent here, like hong ye is toooooo pretty, I get butterflies just watching the trailer and sometimes I pause just to take in the beauty…. He is such a relief to eyes

Exactly I’m already missing him. Rn he is at the top of the drama land, but after his current dramas, i don’t think we have any more drama content from him for a bit long and while I’m happy for him to be resting or doing his music career, I will miss his work 😢
