I hate dailymotion so much. I pay IQIYI/YOUKU/WeTV/VIki because I can't stand ads, and I suffer through poor subtitles…
To have a couple of adblock extensions don't hurt, but the ultimate trick to not see ads is more simple: - delete all dailymotion cookies - open Dm again but this time, when the little window appears about data privacy, ignore the options of "Accept" or "Personalize", and instead click the last one: "continue without accepting". (I'm translating from my language, so maybe the wording isn't exactly the same, but you get the point) This way you have to click that on every video you open, but it's only once and you will never see an ad ever again :)
