Sometimes many things that can affect a personality lead to a bad character. I think CPS' mentality is 'unable' to deal anymore with her overlow self-esteem. Her background has always been the subject of bullying by the 5th princess. I even think LBY is like a Mafia Boss, who is used to people submitting to his orders. This way atleast it's easier for me to understand CSS positioning. What if we have to face the fact that our couple is a person with a tendency to be manipulative, domineering, full of schemes, cold-blooded and not averse to killing?
But here NiaoNiao can also see that LBY is darkness in the Good Version. He uses his efforts not in the context of a thirst for power or a thirst for fame. He's not bullying innocent people. This girl learns to adapt, by accept LBY and the whole package of his darkness and mysterious side without losing her trueself.
And I think this is not an easy things even for someone who is more mature when facing a dilemma like NiaoNiao's.
