Great start but lazy ending

When I started watching this drama, I was really amused, it made me laugh so much! It starts off as a comedy, then continues as a romance, then as a thriller, then a romance at the end again.

Sadly, however, there are a few problems and plot-holes.

The family problem of Ya was resolved too easily, and in such a way that it was unbelievable. It makes you think, "What? That's all it took?" You feel that the stubbornness of the father was way more than this, and it was not realistic.

Then the plot-hole of how Thorn was able to continue using Apo's body? It was pretty unsatisfying in my opinion.

The ending was rushed and lazy, didn't convince me.

Overall, it's a fun watch with some visible flaws.

Two Hot Guys Dancing

This movie is definitely not for everyone, if you're looking for your average BL this is not it!

Plot:

I would say the plot is the dance and the emotions. The emotions between the leads is the main drive of this movie, and we'll have to thank the actors for not disappointing us with their immaculate chemistry!!

Really though, at least 80% of this movie are dance scenes, so if you try to skip them, you'll be sure to end up with nothing! The dances are what move the plot through, you have to watch them dance and understand the story they're telling you, only this way will you be able to enjoy this movie fully.

Although I'll have to admit, my little heart wanted to see them together at least once, but it's a personal problem of mine. Since it's an open ending, I'll have to imagine the rest myself!

Acting:

Just fabulous! Amazing! I feel like the human vocabulary is not enough for me to describe their acting, even though I'm sure it must've been hard, the actors did a fantastic job conveying the characters' feelings while dancing!

The kisses were so passionate as well, I got worked up just by watching them!

Cinematography:

Very pleasing to the eyes, the lightning and the shots were to my liking, they complimented the atmosphere very well!

Music:

Could've been better for such a high-quality movie. It didn't make me feel what I should've felt, you know?

Favourite moment:

I loved when they danced together at that event instead of going with their partners; "Dance in neither about technique or stamina, Love makes it whole." As far as I've realised, Suguki Shinya must've understood that to unlock his full potential, to dance with "love", he must do it with Suzuki Shinya instead of his formal dance partner. The scene where he asks "May I have the honor?" made me go crazy, I absolutely adored it!

Overall:

If you want something clear-cut and simple, or you just want to watch a spicy BL, this isn't for you. It wasn't perfect, I think I should've made my rating lower, but personally that's the rating I want to give. Pick the time where you have a right state of mind and watch it!

Not a Romance Story (slight spoilers)

First of all, I'd like to say that if you're looking for a love story, this series is not it.

When you start watching, our couple is already together, so it doesn't contain the cliche tropes like a break-up, flirting, or chasing. It is about the problems our couple start facing when one of them gets into an accident.

I have to applaud GMMTV for the great series they put out this time!

Plot:

The plot makes you curious about what happened to our character turn from "Solar" to "Nong Sun", and you feel frustrated together with his boyfriend, Pobmek, who suddenly must raise a child, despite not getting along well with children.

The plot is more focused on the growth of the characters than the story, which is mostly uncovered towards the end. The way Solar's friends and lover deal with his split personality really makes you root for them, and sympathize with their situation.

Characters:

All of the characters are flawed, are human. But their growth and change leaves you feeling satisfied.

Sodcheun and Jee are very good and supportive friends that don't let our Pobmek feel alone with his dilemma.

Pobmek and Solar's relationship is very warm and loving, I loved that even when Pobmek was struggling and feeling tired because of his lover, he never once thought of giving up on him. Their relationship is really one anyone would want to have!

Sun was very adorable, I understood why Pobmek struggled with him and wanted to get rid of him at first, but on second thought, he's a child, children like to play around, why should we restrict him? I'm glad that Pobmek felt way more tolerant of children towards the end of the series.

I want to talk a bit about Pobmek's mom; I was very surprised that she didn't give us the cliche "how can my son be gay" reaction haha she was actually more against him being a teacher than that!

Music:

I personally liked the music very much, I'll probably listen to it even though I finished the series. Very warm.

Other:

The cinematography was good, so colorful and artistic, and I loved their outfits! Especially Solar's colorful clothing, it was very unique and caught my attention. I bet the stylists had a fun time with them, it's colorful but not too flashy, very pleasing to the eyes.

Overall:

If you feel you're ready for a bit of an emotional plot, then please watch it!! I recommend it 100%
Perth and Santa did an amazing job at acting this out, they'll let you feel the emotions with them!!
P.S. there are no spicy scenes, so don't even wait for such a thing!!
