The series is not bad actually the visuals are really gorgeous especially those temple shots and the Chinese shrine shots also. Tutor and yim look so fine. The only issue i have is what's with the subtitles? 90% of the time they're fine i guess but the rest of the time they make no sense like was the translator drunk while writing the subtitles or something lol? And the sound effects sometimes felt too much.

Din-Din is played by the same actor who played Macau - Vegas's brother in kinnporche (oh sweet nostalgia) And Sailom - played one of the main leads in Triage the only reason i watched this series was for them. It was overall an not good not bad type of series my favourite couple has to be Tawan and Din-Din as the rest of the pairs didn't have much tension or chemistry. This series really has a summer vibe due to the pattaya beach shots.

Actually what's the thing is both of the couples first time happened in the hotel banquet and by the way the rooms were pitch black but for us audience in order to see we had lighting but according to the novel the rooms were in darkness who they didn't know who it was + the pheromones was making them dizzy also

Glad there wasn't a second two otherwise everyone would've lost their will to survive and be on cloud is doomed anyways after kinnporche many scandals took place + their artist management was terrible almost the whole cast is no longer under that agency.
The only way we ever could get a season 2 is if a billionaire pours in money of the prime minister or Thailand is an bl fan lol.

So are we all going to be blind to the fact how Lu Feng 🍇 xiao chen?? And the audacity to say "men have physical needs don't tell me you stayed celibate waiting for me all these years." to Xiao Chen. Don't get me wrong i indeed watched many red flag bls with messy emotions and lots of crying but double helix is on a whole new level of toxicity. You lost my respect mr. Lu Feng.
Well atleast Xiao Chen looked somewhat happy in episode 5 preview.

It's good we didn't get kinnporche season 2 cause trust me yall will hate the characters yall previously once loved. There is so much SA in the second half of the book. And even in terms of plot there isn't really anything. As in season 1 we have a solid plot with hmmm i wonder what will happen next vibe but season 2 won't have that feel as many characters will be dead in it anyways. Realistically it has only trauma and nothing else.

Despite all the controversies and tragedies i really like the cast's acting, the visuals. We might never get a series that will out do kinnporche even in the future as the cast of kinnporche was so much you can't even remember all of them until you rewatch often.
I don't think any bl in future will cast 40-50 actors with a high intense plot lol. No series will do justice to the mafia trope as much as kinnporche

This series was going good until episode 9-10 then after that everything just fell apart honestly. The fact that two people - darin and king got kidnapped and the fact singha didn't give a single fuck is concerning. The only person who here has braincells might be sey only he alone understood the gravity of two people's lifes being in risk. And overall this series felt repetitive cause makes sense the cast isn't huge and neither are the locations. After some point it just turned into a cycle of singha's house-police station-santi tham house - other sub police station- hospital and the murder spot of the start. Overall it felt like putting pebbles into a jar and shaking it around every now and then and calling it a day. And this series has this grey undertone it doesn't have that much day light scenes anyways.
Overall a 7.5/10. The ost is good though.
