There's such a thing as limited demand and I think it's hurting the series. When GMMTV released three BLs almost simultaneously, of course (or Off course), one of them was gonna be hurt, and of course it's the lighter, more modest one. The Last twilight is the appealing melodrama, Cherry Magic is the glossier, long-awaited remake of a Japanese hit, and then there's Cooking Crush .

It's the classic BL story of food and romance but the comedy, sometimes bawdy sometimes deadpan, is genuinely funny. Gun as the straight guy and Off as the funny one are still nailing it. The supporting characters are also a blast. There hasn't been a single episode in which I did not laugh at least once. And the pace is fine. This recipe deserved more love.

Thank you for the explanation but couldn’t they make it clearer in that final scene! But the trailer for the Special Episode got me even more confused. From what I got, Khun Yai traveled from the past (and from Chang Mai) to modern Bangkok. So is he a ghost, a reincarnation or what?
Boeing is the single best thing that could happen to the series in its final stretch, when everything is getting a bit dull. He is hot and he knows it, he is proud of his glasses unlike Mew, and he looks like he wants to eat every guy in this series for dinner.
Teenage boys according to Thai BLs: once they start dating, they're stripped off of all their testosterone supply and start acting like 50-year-old prudes.
