We're halfway through the series and it feels like it hasn’t started yet. There’s no focus, and new elements keep being added on and on without any apparent connection with each other. C’mon, this is the middle of the series already! It hurts character building and interaction — really, Jun Employee acts toward Jun Boss as if they’ve just met; and the show seems to be gonna milk the ‘why has Jun given up his Boy-band career’ mystery until the last episode. There’s a good story there; what it lacks is a better script.
This episode was three quarters great and one quarter… weird. The whole ‘Jaab is dating Paint (who?) but he couldn’t come to the party’ just came out of nowhere. And Mr. Jeng in the last bed scene was out of character, it was as if he hadn’t been warned about Pat literally the minute before. I get that he was in love and in denial but he was delusional in that scene. Like the Jaab thing, it was rushed. And Pat dear, we love you but you’re not boss material.
Nepo BABY (nepotism baby) is how people call those children of celebrities who succeed because of their parents. Since Pat is not Jeng’s son but his soon-to-be lover, I thought it would be better to call him Nepo BABE.
That’s what I’ve been asking since episode 1.
Wait, you ask his ex who still has a crush on him to comfort Pat?!!!!??
PS: Ep. 7 was awfully well written.
Then he sent you back to Bangkok to live on your own.
Logic is not an entry in Mame’s dictionary.
