What 'mistake' did Langya make exactly? The mistake was never his, unless you consider them keeping the dragon scroll with the correct name on it a mistake, then XiaoSe already destroyed the one with his name on it. Langya giving up the throne was not a 'mistake', who's ever heard of someone being forced to become an emperor ..

I just realised, the last thing these two said in Blood River is the same last words they say to each other in TBOY *ugly cries* (and yes, I know Blood River and TBOY are technically different, but I like to imagine TBOY as the alt BE for them)

Genuinely, FL honestly saved their butts quite a few times, I do feel (as many others do) that the romance sub-plot is a teeny bit forced, but they always do this so I'm not even that surprised, but other than that, FL is actually pretty endearing to me, again surprisingly cuz I usually dislike forced FLs/romance

I don't think s2 will pick up from this tbh, I don't even think the writer was involved in this, so just take this as a filler for you to pick your teeth while we await for an epic season 2 for TBOY

The sword isn't useless, but i definitely think it's incredibly ironic that the world's best sword, which only XiaoYi and XiaoSe can wield, can apparently now be used by literally anybody

I've got soo many questions too, literally just made a comment about them haha. But I guess JinXuan didn't end up getting killed in TBOY (though he was supposed to), he was probably just imprisoned at the end

Questions .. so many question:

1. I'm assuming WuXin retired as Sect Leader of TWT, but did he have to let YeZhiXin take over when she was merely 18? Could he not have helped her cure her ailment? Seeing that he's rumoured to be taking back control of the sect at the end, it seems he does have the power to continue ruling TWT, why did he stop?

2. Who exactly is YZX? Is she WuXin's descendant? Where did the 2 old emissaries of TWT go (the White-haired deity and the other purple-clothed one)?

3. Who exactly is YZX's master? I assumed it was JinXuan at first because we see him talking to the young version of YZX at the very start, but it was revealed to be a monk? Would that be WuXin?

4. Why exactly is JinXuan still out and about, wasn't he already dealt with by the heroes at the end of TBOY??

5. I'm assuming XiaoSe was the one who placed the TianZhan sword in that weird corridor place, but what exactly happened to him? And why does everyone think he can heal ailments when XiaoSe literally isn't even a medic/healer?

6. XiaoSe and WeiGui's family obviously know each other, but who exactly is WeiGui's dad? He has to be one of XS's close friends, but I can't think of anyone that fits the bill from TBOY.

7. I would think XiaoChong would be a better emperor than the last, but it seems like he's doing a similarly crap job (XiaoSe please takeover)

At least we know for sure what one of the 3 MCs from TBOY is doing - LeiWuJie has his own disciple yayy. But I find it so ironic that the world's greatest sword, only ever wielded by the first emperor XiaoYi and XiaoSe, is now being wielded by literally anybody ..

Also, I swear they get knocked out in some way every episode. There are lots of random time skips, and they conveniently skip most of the fight scenes .. Seems like a low-quality production, but I guess I'll take any TBOY-related filler while we wait for season 2.
