I hate the brother, one of those hypocritical righteous people that thinks they're always right. But I do understand him a bit, he tries his best to protect his family above all, and was even willing to sacrifice his arm for MC's 'wrongdoings' to clear their reputation. But he really pissed me off when he shunned MC for giving LSF an opportunity, as if he would've fared any better given he trusts anyone with a reputation in the martial world ..
Have been wanting to start this for a while, but the first episode isn't that exciting for some reason and even slightly confusing, I'll give it a few more episodes.
Edit - it's definitely got more interesting after the first few eps, it's so funny seeing how MC always unintentionally annoys LSF haha
I miss the days when this site was dominated by Kdrama loving fans, now there's too many cdrama fans here with…
You're here talking trash about cdrama fans because they talk trash about kdramas, yet you yourself are talking trash about cdramas. Do you not see how you're part of the problem .. Both are good and as a fan of both, I hate it when people feel the need to badmouth one to bring the other up.
I have finally finished the drama and it has taken me a full week. I liked it a lot but what makes me the saddest…
I think for me, I thought the whole VR game thing was interesting, but because I read the novel first some time before watching this, I already knew that I liked the novel's premise much more than it being a game. But I agree, the plot of both The Untamed and Spirealm is top-tier even without the romance, but having it is like the cherry on the cake. I think people focus more on the 'bromance' because it is afterall a censored drama, and we try to latch onto the things we can't have, but I think both the romance and the story is very important to the plot of this stories.
is the ending of the novel a happy one? better than the ending of the show?
Oh yes definitely, the show was censored so that's thw best they could do, but the novel is happy ending. The series had changed the underlying concept of the novel slightly too, to make sense of their changed ending. So the novel ending will be quite different, but I really liked it even though some find it a controversial reveal.
But then again there was a second where the 'Restart' screen was floating, does that mean MC really did die?
Edit - it's definitely got more interesting after the first few eps, it's so funny seeing how MC always unintentionally annoys LSF haha
