I do agree it's quite over-hyped, but it's kinda special in its own way I guess. What I really like was the ending. They didn't show ML to become a human and live happily ever after with FL, he stayed demon, and they both accepted the fact that their time will differ, but still manage to find happiness knowing that. I like that FL didn't become the CEO, and left it to SML instead. Sometimes endings don't necessarily have to end with the main characters becoming all successful and happy forever, and they really showed that here
Honestly, I was pretty into to it, but I thought it dragged on a bit. 12 episodes would probably have been perfect length.
Anyhow, I really do love our couple, they're so sweet and homey, and SML is the best ever. The plot was mediocre at best, and pretty predictable most of the time, lost of tropes used in here too. What's good about it is the romance, and that's what they focussed on. If you're here for some good plot, be prepared to be disappointed.

Wow this is like another Wattpad story, what is up with China this year with all these types of series? Gives me similar vibes to Embrace in the Darkness with the over-the-top acting and romance tropes
