Its such a good drama, dammit china DX I was genuinely scared at some scenes, its super well made, I'd prolly…
Me too! I'm a scaredy-cat so i'm making a really big exception watching this haha, but one thing i'm glad is that they somehow manage to make the atmosphere super scary, but the scenes themselves actually aren't THAT bad. Like they're still terrifying (for me) but it's not as bad once I know what to expect.
I think people jumped to conclusions with zero evidence of the claims about what happened. I haven't been able…
Idk i'm pretty sure the whole 'got taken down because of china censorship' really shouldn't be that shocking. if u want evidence that china censors series like this, just look at all those poor series that us fans have been waiting ages to air but still haven't
So I've been watching up to ep8, and there really isn't too much bromance? Like there is quite a bit there honestly, but not a lot of chemistry, very much unlike what we got in MRIAD. This is a bit sad since FLs haven't even gotten involved yet and we already get such limited chemistry.
But I do still enjoy the detective bits cuz boy i love a mystery, this is coming from someone who watches with her brain turned off. I did smell the murderer from a mile away for the second case, since i already knew how the Murder on Oriental Express would turn out, but I did enjoy ML having to hide LSC in his house haha.
currently on episode 1, i enjoyed it a lot but the story of how the other 2 leads are nepo babies being spoiled…
ML (police guy) may be nepo but he really doesn't act like one, he actually has to submit to Bai's orders. BYN (Bai's daughter) on the hand is an actual nepo baby, but she did try to run away from that status. If nepo babies are what ur worried about, then u should be just fine
Ok I just rewatched this, and I admit my opinion of BYN has slightly changed for the better. I should give credit where credit is due, and even though she may be an annoying and nosy spoiled rich girl, but she really is the only one daring enough and with enough power to help LY stand up against his family. I do admire that strength
So one really important qiestion - can someone with low af scare tolerance watch this? Cuz while i can and looove to read scary stuff, i sure as hell can't take even a bit of horror 🥲
oooo the bromance caught my attention, but anyone can tell me if the plot is any good? I just rewatched MRIAD and was looking at MLs' other works. Is this good?
It actually struck me that the type implies that the drama should be in the perspective of the FL?? As it's 'my roommate' is a detective, meaning the one rooming with LY aka FL. Which is funny cuz she really wasn't an important character at all. And why such a sappy title when the mystery plot should be the main point?
It's not the same as Word of Honor or The Untamed, since those ones are adapted from gay stories and so they're…
If that was what they were trying to do, so sorry, tell that to all the viewers here that's been hating on FL's character since the very start that she's 'marriage material'. Honestly ridiculous imo
I second that! I thought that I have high tolerance for this type of FL but I am on 2nd episode and I've had enough!…
I didn't even know this was tagged sassy FL, cuz nuh-ah she ain't SASSY at all. Gives a bad rep to truly sassy FLs. At most she can only be rich from nepotism, annoying, dressed up FL
Also personally i actually really like the first episode when they meet, always a special place in my heart
I can't say for anything after ep44 though cuz that's where i am right now
