Had so much potential, dissatisfying to watch

Characters/acting:
The characters don't give me butterflies and the acting is dead. Seto's lines are unbelievably boring. All my expectations just went drastically downhill, because I was looking forward to the scene where the couple has a conversation before the basketball match, after they meet officially for the first time. (Oh, the butterflies in the Chinese version!) It was just so disappointing. The characters are less manly/feminine and that shift made me so confused. There should be a fine line between each characters, but non of them have a basic and distinctive characteristic that belong to a specific character. All of them are just one blur. All of them act the same and the dialogue is boring. I'm not putting all of the blame on the actors/actresses but the director, acting teachers and the scriptwriter could've done a better job in guidance.

Everything else/comparing to the Chinese versions:
The animation/greenscreen sucks. I've seen what Japan can do, but I think this production just has low budget. All of the episodes are less than half an hour long, so everything is rushed, speed up and non of the details from the original plot is shown. I understand that Japan's tv slot time is different, but this was just irritating. It's dissatisfying to watch compared to its Chinese drama counterpart. It's kind of annoying and frustrating because it had so much potential. Even the Chinese movie version was better smh. I don't recommend watching this unless you're extremely bored.

I only finished it just for the actors sake

The pre-, production and post was so chaotic in an unprofessional way. I only finished it just for the actors sake, because they're saving this whole production by their acting.

There's little communication between the viewers and screen, especially in the dialog. The viewers are either dragged along or force fed with information. It was fine at first, but went downhill as the show progressed. It's visually off putting when they have a dramatic head shot (for what??) in fluffy scenes which irritated me. The communication between the boys is cut off by the camera placement and how it's edited. Loved the characters though, but their intentions could've been clearer and emotionally be more in depth if the script was written better.

They could've used better and more mics and fix it in post to reduce the bugs that you can hear in the background. The camera placements are confusing and boring, no excitement whatsoever and the thing saving it are the actors. In the last episode, there were two shots in slow-motion and I couldn't stop laughing cuz it was so bad.. (post production to rescue the vibes lol) they could've filmed different angles, close ups of their eyes and hands to make the scene more intense- just like what they did in the other scenes, which was eye candy for the viewers. The little details such as them holding hand, which was shot up close- or when it was only them walking in the rice field, with a wide shot to show the quality time the characters spent with each other.

If you're gonna watch this til the end, make sure you have time to kill, love all of the characters, actors, romantic cliché trope and enjoy the music.

overall educational and cute

like every other medical dramas out there- this isn't an exception on educating the viewers, however I don't know how plausible each treatment is, it was entertaining to watch. The medicinal methods in the drama must have been heavily based on real life. I kept pausing mid way and googling which ingredients did what and it was fun searching even though a big chunk of it was in Thai. The medicine and the whole concept of historical doctors was fascinating overall.

The characters were so much fun. Everyone had the typical family role, but there were two wives. I liked how it was normalized and showed how the relationship between everyone under the household worked. Thong-On being the typical little brother, Thong-Thae being the typical older brother. Everyone was so typical but had their own bright personalities.

The romance part was a cute build up. The chemistry was top notch! Their annoyance turned to bickering to friends to lovers was so adorable. There are comments were they didn't like how the romance was kept on pushing back, but I personally think that they needed some struggles and danger for them to realize their own feelings.

The story was great, but the reason why it only got an eight star was because the pacing isn't the greatest. The main character switches back and forth to Bua and Thong-On depending on who and what the focus is in the episode. That was fine- but there were so many irrelevant happenings going on in some episodes. No spoilers here, find out for yourself and understand what I mean because I still highly recommend watching this drama serie.

It's highly addicting to the point where I installed a vpn so that I could watch from a different website that is not available in my country. I would probably re-watch this after sometime later again with a friend ᵕ̈

(After understanding the smallest bit of Thai, Bua's lines on the last episode was so romantically cute. The translation didn't do any justice!)

another cute uni drama about two people falling in love

cute, fluffy and a nice filler drama. watched it in one sitting. i love how natural the characters were nicely written and acted. the plot and dialogues flowed so naturally. everyone's chemistry towards each other as a lover or a friend was amazing. it was well executed. it deserves an eight out of ten just by how much the writer put their minds behind every action and word that comes out of the actors' mouths.

could've scored higher if it wasn't a normal love story between two people falling in love - needed a kick, a spice that was missing and therefore the rewatch value is only a one star. the only "conflict" they had was about how both of the mains lacked confidence in their own ways. it lacked drama from external sources. other than that, i recommend watching it cuz it's a fun one.

This review may contain spoilers
It's a low budget drama but the story and the bad production kept me going. It's so bad that it made me crack up easily.

Funny things that made me laugh (SPOILERS) EP 1!
the fake blood is so bright
there's blood running down their chins.. irl they should have blood inside their mouths but they didn't.. wow their teeth are so white
her fringe is orange-brown which ruins the wuxia experience
when she says "don't cry" and wipes away his non existent tears
the effects in general, esp when he throws the arrow and the enemy's blood fades away
