The issue isn’t even about casting a minor in a mature role it’s about casting an adult with a minor in a romantic role. If they were both adults, it would be fine. If they were both minors, it would be fine. But an adult and a minor together is never okay, and trying to justify it is honestly disturbing. Saying its just acting doesn't make it any less weird.
