I'm sorry but I really wished the ML was dead, when everybody thought he was. Then she could have ended up with the King (2nd ML). No matter how strong the love between The Prince of Lan Ling and Xue Wu was, I wanted her to end up with the King of Zhou. The ending was so too damn sad!!!! .·´¯`(>▂<)´¯`·.

I watched this drama in fast forward mode, that's how little it kept me interested. I was irritated at all the dumb decisions that the female lead kept making. The only reason why I finished it was because of Zhang Vin amazing acting. Just like in Eternal Love, his facial expressions were so emotional and captivating. Stil, I didn't like the storylines... None of them. I also found the ending stupid... All the pain, deaths, heartaches and sacrifices were for nothing. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm writing a letter to the Chinese delegation for wreaking my emotions. Every time my heart was recuperating from the sadness "boom" something would happen and just sink it back to the bottom. That ending left me a complete mess!!!... I had to get that off my chest... Anyways, I loved this drama. My two favorite characters were Yan Xun and the princess. I loved how both characters started, so naive, simple, content, then both sank to the deepest and darkest place in a human soul... The female ML pissed me off a few times, but overall, I loved her acting and fighting scenes. She gave me goosebumps when she lifted the flag in episode 41... I really hope there's season 2.
