I thought Hyun Seo was very patient. I was rooting for her. It's too bad she didn't have another admirer because maybe Hyuk Joon wouldn't have taken her for granted the way he did. If you have no competition vying for the gal you're initially interested in, and you then find out some of the other gals are interested in getting to know you, well your ego kicks in which is what happened to him. And it was ridiculous how he used the phrase, "going on tour" like give me a break. To be clear, there's nothing wrong with getting to know everybody because that's what the show is about but as I said if you know that no one else is interested in someone, you're not afraid to put them on the back burner until you feel like dealing with them...
I am sorry if this sounds harsh but I can't believe how clueless they all are. Surely they've seen some kdramas and have at least seen how guys and girls interact with each other ๐ค
I realize that some of you might like this story but oh my god, I found it to be absolutely ridiculous.
She had ZERO self respect and then had the audacity to whine, bitch and moan that nobody accepted her for how she was and believed it was because of all the men she had slept with and all the partying that she's done. Well you know what yeah, can anyone honestly say they would be proud to bring home a partner to their parents when they are like that? And if the roles were reversed and she was the one bringing home somebody with those qualities, would she be proud of that? This show really missed the mark for me.
And another thing, the fact that in the end she chose "herself" that is just a blatant rip off of a storyline from the 90's Aaron Spelling TV show called, 90210. The love triangle on that show had one of the female lead's finally picking someone in what had to be one the most exhaustive storylines known to mankind. And you didn't have to watch the show to know what was going on because that's all anyone talked about. The shocking way that the character said, "I choose me" was eye rolling at best ๐
I'm so glad that everyone out there who feels the need to continually harass and publicly criticize Ha Young while HIDING behind the safety of their keyboard can say that they AND their families have all lived such perfect and upstanding lives ๐
Someone should correct it here, I was wondering about the completly wrong storyline...
I stopped watching it so I shelved it but it almost seems like the writers were sort of setting it up that she actually is from wealth but was being hidden or maybe the family doesn't know she's from a wealthy family (was she's adopted?) sorry it's been a while since I watched it I can't quite remember but wasn't somebody looking for her? That's what makes me think they're trying to find her like maybe she has a title of some sort I don't know....
